So, I'm confused as to how the site could tell when a user has multiple accounts and when there's other family or friends using the same computer to log in to their subeta accounts. My family and I often all play the same games and we share computers.
I'd like to know if my mother can join this game or not. If she has an account and she does have a similar or the same IP (her computer or mine), will she be "frozen"? I don't want her putting all of her time into this game, and then getting frozen. And yes, I would probably give her some of my stuff, so I assume that might flag as multiple accounts, too?
I just want to make sure I understand.
Those would, yes. But you can set up a ticket when your mother creates an account, letting staff know her username so they can make a note on both of your accounts. You'll probably want to limit the amount of gifts given between your accounts as well.
Putting a notice on your or her profiles won't do much, if anything. You're better off setting up a ticket.
Unless it's specifically family and you inform the admin via tickets: never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever have multiple accounts on here because you'll lose all of them.
If you're still that confused, that's what the ticket system is for. c:

(hope that works) Okay. Thanks for letting me know.
It's unfortunate it's limited. I usually trade her tons of stuff in games. Seems strange to have to worry about being one item over the "limit." Well, luckily this is a game where it's easier to get stuff than our other pet game, but it's unfortunate that I wouldn't be able to just give her gifts. It always makes her so happy. :/
I'll contact support after she makes her account, but... I'll probably not play this then, honestly. Part of the reason I even play these games is to get stuff for her, haha. Oh well. Thanks again.
Okay. I'll let them know before she even makes the account then to be extra careful.
Well, if she's giving you things as well, it shouldn't be a problem. Making one-way trades, or just throwing items her way looks sort of suspicious, you know? But you could go over this stuff in a ticket with whichever staff member answers your ticket. There's no real "gift limit" as far as I know, but you probably shouldn't be sending her every little thing, if you know what I mean.
Notices to staff on profiles are actually against the rules and will be cleared when found anyway.
A ticket is the only course of action.
Any time a question about the rules comes up, file a ticket :)
Okay, thank you. I sent them a ticket, and it looks like everything will be okay. It really sounded like they had a zero tolerance policy on multiple accounts, so I didn't even think it was possible at all to play with her. It would be unfortunate since this is such a pretty game.
I don't think I have a notice on my profile. Do I? I don't see anything. Just..a really silly profile from when I was maybe, 15. Haha. I haven't gotten to change much since I started playing this again except for my hair ...accidentally. Everything has been pretty overwhelming.
"multiple accounts" specifically refers to one person having more than one account, for which there is in fact a zero tolerance policy. multiple people in the same household or on the same computer having their own individual accounts is fine, as long as you let staff know like the others have told you.
I wasn't saying you did, I just saw steer you away from them but I wanted to clarify that you shouldn't make any notes :)
As long you notify them by ticket that she is a different person, you should be okay.
If you have any other questions, fee free to comment me, but if it's a rules question, tickets are always the best option! :)
I know, but it didn't really sound like they'd be able to tell the difference if I was sending her stuff like I usually do in these pet games.I also read that they used to instantly freeze accounts with no possibility to even contact or talk about it, so that had me scared to even risk playing this game at all with her even with the rule change because the rule itself doesn't even make absolute sense to me.
I know it sounds really basic so I probably sound stupid. If one person uses multiple accounts, then they are frozen, but that had me wondering what made it look like one person with two accounts, and what would let them know that it was my Mother and I. We're both in the same household so similar I.Ps, we both play, and I give her stuff sometimes. I couldn't think of there being much of a difference from the outside. To me, it felt like something that could swoop down and strike at any time with no obvious trigger and result in the freezing of our accounts.
Now that I contacted them, it's clear that it will be okay so long as I keep contacting them especially if I plan on making a big gift, but it was completely arbitrary to me before. I wish I could just send in our I.Ds or something simple. That would be much less nerve-wracking, lol.
Awesome, thanks. I'll probably have some questions once I start to grasp the site again in general. There's a lot of stuff missing and new things from before which I spent a few hours searching for before I even figured out the pages were removed like Account Worth. It'll take some basic getting used to before I even start "playing" again.
My childhood friend has an account here too. When I was visitng her to help her with Subeta, I notified Subeta with a ticket. I told them what I was doing there when we were both logged. Indeed.. they 'fear' a big shift in stuff from one account to another.. that one account gets emptied in favour for another. so I told them that was not the case.
Normally my friend and I exchange gifts.. but we didn't do so on that day. Just to keep things safe.
It's because of dishonest people, Subeta has these rules.
I also joined this site with my mom; we've been here, hard to believe, almost nine years. And we haven't had trouble in all of that time, even though I've gift-spammed her many times lol. There's also a friend who always visits over the new year, and the three of us will not only do quests for New Year Tokens, but collect from the free shop event during that week too. Subeta staff are the most understanding and reasonable I've ever seen, so you shouldn't have any problems. And the community is very friendly, so please don't hesitate to ask for help for getting reacquainted with the site. I hope that will reassure you both, and welcome back to Subeta. :)
