Shinwa is asking me for a piece that Carl has, but when i try to reach him it says i haven't unlocked that area, so i bought all 9 pieces of a treasure map, im assuming unlocks that area ? How do i complete the map to gain access ? Thanks !

You actually need to complete two maps -- the plain Treasure Map, and the Omen Islands map.

as far as I know you just need to complete the uncharted land map

once you have all of the pieces, you take it here it's found on the games page :) the other map can be completed here

Once you have all the pieces in your inventory, visit the Treasure Maps page via the Games Room. The Omen Islands map is the Uncharted Land Map; there are nine pieces, just like the other one.

Wow that one's quite more expensive lol. But how do i got about completing the map ? I click on the pieces in my inventory and dont have such an option

it is a bit expensive but worth it, it unlocks a new quest which will then be permanently available to you and allow you access to the islands, where you can get a hydrus color for your pets. also it's handy because keel hauliday is coming up soon and having the map lets you enjoy that to its fullest :)
