Ok.... this is making me mad. I look at the ingredients page and find the ingredients that are in the drop down menu under each item. I buy one of them in the list. I go back to the ingredients page, refresh, and it says I still don't have the ingredients. I look in the drop down menu and it shows that I now have the item that was originally in the drop down menu but now removed. So now I have to go buy ANOTHER item in the drop down menu?? I'm going broke here! Can someone explain to me how this works?

as long as you have one of the items on the list, a green checkmark should appear next to the name (i.e. eggs). so for example, these are all the applicable 'egg' items. you just need to have one.

if you're sure you have an applicable item in your inventory and you've refreshed the page and it's still not giving you a checkmark, then i'm not sure what's going on.

The dropdowns automatically default to "Items you don't have," you have to open them all and then all the applicable items in your inventory should show up in the "Items you have" list above that, and you have to select it. There should be a gap in between the name of the item(s) in your inventory and the "Items you don't have" title

yes this is what's happening. A couple times it worked fine, but most of the time it kept doing this to me. I'd go buy an item with the word in the name, like 'eggs'... but then I'd refresh and it would still tell me I don't have the item, but the little red X would turn into a green check. is so confused. Would this be something I would report in the bugs forum?

and you say the item you have doesn't appear on the list once you've got it? i've never had that happen, but it might be worth checking if you have any custom css or browser extensions that are affecting it. try disabling any css and extensions you may have, close your browser, and try again. if it's still giving you trouble, then it might be a bug on the site's end and you should post in problems & bugs.

All of the dropdowns default to saying "Items you don't have" but if you open one, the item in my inventory is listed above that, under "Items you have" and even if the checkmark is green, you still have to select an ingredient from the "Items you have" list.

that's odd that yours defaults to 'items you don't have.' whenever i have an applicable item my list defaults to that item.

yah it's quite confusing. The red x will be gone but it will still say I don't have the right item. or have the item, when I just bought one of the items in the items I need list. So if I just bought an item that is in the item I need list, you would think that solves my dilemma? shakes someone why not??!!

I'm using Firefox, so that could be why (or it could be CSS or something, I haven't actually tested it). But it's a pretty easy fix if that's the only problem going on, so I haven't really looked into it more than that. I just assumed it was something on my end and left it at that
