Accounts go inactive after a year but there shouldn't be any reason you can't log into it. If it's been frozen, then unfortunately probably not.

Though it's against the rules to make a second account, so honestly you might not get it back anyway at this point. But is right, you need to file a ticket and talk to staff.

Just be careful in the meantime because you can get into trouble for having multiple accounts, as silly as it sounds. File the ticket asap.

it could be that someone took your old account's username when it became inactive, so you couldn't log in using that username anymore (it would now belong to someone else and use their password). can't be sure since your initial post is a bit vague hehe.

anyway i hope you get back your old account soon though, so you can close this one and get back into the swing of things! c:

I would think the site has a measure to tell when that sort of thing happens? I don't know exactly how it works but I'm pretty sure the site still keeps a record of your past username(s), they should be able to have you put in your email or something to confirm that it was previously your username and then have you change it immediately
