I received a CW I already own, anonymously. I really appreciate the gesture, and was wondering if it would be rude to try and trade it for a CW I don't have yet? Thoughts?

it's your item. I'm sure it differs from person to person on how it'd make them feel as the gifter, but I think most people would prefer you try to get something you want out of it than to have two copies and not having any use for a second

If I gave someone a gift and I saw that they were trading it away or selling it or re-gifting it or something, I'd think... nothing of it. I'm in a very close situation personally, someone just gave me a Cronus Blade, which is on my WL and I did want very badly, but the reason I wanted it was specifically if I couldn't get a Baal, I knew I could trade the two since Cronus Blade is just a genetech combo from Baal. It was incredibly nice of the person to give me this item and I appreciate it immensely, doing as I see fit with it doesn't change that at all.

I've traded away CW gifts that weren't even anonymous, so don't feel bad. Personally I'd rather see you get CSC or an item you could use rather than hold onto a second copy of something just because it was a gift. [edit] I got a forum point so as far as I'm concerned the site agrees with me :P
