Whelp, for starters would everyone like to do UK or Ireland?

haha well since I'm half British, I say UK... A centaur would be a cool mascot.

A centaur would certainly be nice though not sure they would appreciate to be mixed up with ignorant and rude humans (ask Bane about what he think of humans and wizards mostly).

What about a snidget for mascot? (could use a golden lain doll to represent it?)

Hello everyone! Let's get a jump on t his challenge! Why don't we so far it has been suggested we pick U.K. for our team and a snidget for a mascot! Is everyone in agreement, or would anyone like to propose something else?

Let's toss some possible team names out there, too!

Im from the UK :D But Im from Northern Ireland haha! Would it be possible to include N.I in the UK team somewhere :D? We always get forgotten about haha! Just a thought :3 I love making HAs ^-^

I would say red/yellow for colours to match the snidget, but that seems an awful lot like Gryffindor. xD

works for me I don't see why we can't have N.I. with us xD since it is part of the UK.

well if we go with a snidget some name ideas: Somerset Snidgets (that's South West England) Lisburn Lightning Snidgets (NI, near Belfast)

Well, why not make the team from North Ireland? Like I dunno, the Belfast Bludgers or something along those lines?

Absolutely we can have some N.I. influence! I like 's idea. And copper/gold or bronze/gold seems like a good color combination.

If we're all in agreement on a team from Northern Ireland with those colors and a snidget as a mascot, why don't we start working on HAs! Feel free to submit as many as you like, and we can choose for each position a few days before the entries are due. :)

Also, both names suggested so far are good - Belfast Bludgers and Lisburg Lightning. Which do you all prefer? Any other suggestions?

It sounds like a cool, powerful sporting name that would definitely be used here :D! Our ice hockey team are called the Belfast Giants and the football team tend to be called The Green and White Army haha!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the blugers name, to me it sounds weird to name a team with an item of the game itself--especially since its not the mascot. In this case, I'd highly vote to make Bluger's the mascot if we went with this--which could be neat.

If using the bludgeon bothers people, what about the Belfast Bludgeoners? Then it describes an action, not game equipment?

now, see, I like that better, an action rather than an item-- also makes the name sound more powerful. Like "hey we are gonna clobber you"
