Okay first of all I'm not naming names nor am I providing enough specific details to pinpoint said frustration. Whoever is involved may or may not choose to partake in this conversation and frankly I do not care.

OK so let's say you have an item that is 20m+ in user shops but is going for, let's say, 2.5m in the Antique Shop. Am I wrong to lower my price from 20m+ to around the same price in the Antique Shop? (Mine is still barely higher but reflects the new price)

Someone had the audacity to TELL me to higher my price back up to everyone else's after pointing out to me it was wrong (initially asking me if it was a mistake). I told them that their price, along with the other few, was grossly inflated and would be ripping someone off. Am I alone in thinking this way? Just curious as to what other's outlooks are on this.

Thank you

No, there are a lot of people on here trying to cash in on newbies who did not check everything properly. It usually involves asking for CSC or overpricing special npc shop items.

In your case, you are definitely in the right. Since they added the 'can be bought here' sentence, everybody should be checking there first. There's definitely no good reason to ask for ten times an items' worth. Especially if it can be bought all year long from the Antique Shop.

You are very free to price your item it's actual worth. Most definitely when it has a set price already.

Nah I think you're fine. I don't think I've had an item with that big of a price difference but I know that if I'm selling something that, for example, is currently available in the Cash Shop, I'll match the price to the cost of the CSC to buy it, and I've dropped some prices by doing that. I haven't had anyone contact me about it but I agree that it's kind of shitty to keep the inflated price (not to mention that it's probably going to take way longer to sell, especially if it says "currently available in this place" on the shop search or if the person buying knows where to look)

Thank you both so much. My thoughts exactly! I've actually done so for people on the advertising boards without them even asking. It just doesn't sit right with me knowing full well they can buy it anytime cheaper (same with matching CSC when active in the Cash Shop). I've just never had someone directly tell me to do something like mentioned above.

I have had people buy an item from my shop at a mistake price, and then contact me about buying it back. The thing is that I really don't care lol. Even if it's a mistake, like my item sold, I won't notice or care that it sold for cheaper than the SS price if you don't tell me. I put a notice up on my profile after the most recent time because I feel bad that people are just trying to help but like, no I don't really want to buy the item back, I already got my money as far as I'm concerned

But I know there are a lot of people that complain about "undercutters" in the shop search and the thing is, if people can see that it's available for cheaper, it's never gonna sell at the high price and also if people are able to undercut you, then clearly your item wasn't selling for the high price anyway. So maybe undercutters aren't the problem (wow I went off on a tangent there sorry lmao)

Totally understand you on that first one. You should have done the research on the item initially. Any item that I am actively seeking, I check it's history and see if it is anywhere available on the site. We all win some and lose some but we learn from it.

As for undercutters, if the item is under the same situation listed above (available in any shop) then I completely understand and do not mind. BUT if there is no reasonable explanation as to why the price is cut so drastically, then I become irritated. I don't call anyone out on it though and just wait for the price to raise. Patience is everything lol

Don't apologize for ranting either :) that's what this forum is for!!
