Alolan forms are gonna be awesome. Can't wait for my water typed Growlithe & Arcanine (mentioned in the leak below)!! And since the leak for the starters was basically confirmed with Mallow's image shown in Baracat's concept art, that gives credit to the rest of the Chinese leak which also says that Rockruff will have 4 evolutionary forms and is a werewolf (HYPE IT UP), and that there might in fact be TWO forms for the final evolution of the starters (WHAT WHAT). And on top of all that. We now have Poke Ride which basically makes HMs obsolete (hopefully). And. Gamefreak has done away with the gym + league formula!

It really just seems like anything can happen and I can't remember ever being THIS excited for another new pokemon main game. I mean. I've been hype for all of them. But this is just. HNNGH.

For real though, the Ninetails released today is a knockout! I'm super hyped for these games! My fiance showed me the new trailer at work today and all my coworkers had to ask me later why I was screaming XD

I had to put my phone away during my break at work so I wouldn't freak out too much, haha. I've been home for 2 3 hours and all I've done with myself is research the new info and the leaks I've missed. .-.

I'm honestly hoping those final starter leaks are fake because I don't like the Litten evo. And I really wanted to choose Litten! Hahaha!

The hype is so real -- I honest to god can't wait for this game, haha!

I'm just excited to see them cranking out new things while still keeping it the same Pokemon game. I'm really looking forward to seeing what other new Pokemon come out, and if there's more of the Alola form Pokemon (Vulpix and Ninetales... hnnnngh).

Why all this stuff for one game it seems a bit much. I can understand a Burmy like concept for the bird, I can get having some Pokemon appear in Alola with different typing.

But having the starters have 2 forms, Rockruff with 4 and is a werewolf, no HMs and them doing away with the traditional Pokemon League? Kinda breaks it for me. :/ I hope some of this turns out to be false cuz I enjoy the league as is and if it's just going to be 4 islands you have to go to to become some Island Champion I'm not gonna be overly happy.

@blackwolf_2009 Idk, imo, they had to change the formula at least a little. I'm sad to see your hype fade out though. :( I don't think HMs will be gone COMPLETELY, but even if they are, it allows you to have a normal attack/support ove in your set rather than one that ends up being... kind of a waste, honestly.

Keep in mind the starters and Rockruff and a lot of what I'm hyping about are still unconfirmed. I really love the idea for a werewolf type pokemon, though. More than I probably should, haha.

But! Who's to say? you might still end up really enjoying the new games for what they end up being.

my gosh guys, I didn't no how to react when I saw the new forms today. I just loved them all. Exxegutor is a great surprise. If the rumors are real I'll definitely choose Popplio!

by the way, the siren and the werewolf make a great mystic team!

Yeah, that's also if any of this pans out. So far, still really hyped though. Love the knew Vulpix and really hope she gets a mega.

I mean I figure I will I just hope the league is still the same. However I am 100% still looking forwards to it. Even if I don't play it myself, I get to see the gameplay and all that stuff either way. :D Still not sure if I want to pick up one or not. -lol-

I'm so excited for this game, oh my gosh ;-; The new forms of Vulpix and Ninetales are soooo pretty. If the final evo leaks are true, then the only one I don't really care for is Litten's (which is ironic, because that's who I was leaning towards as a starter originally), but either way I'm trying not to get my hopes up too terribly much just in case. A werewolf pokemon for Rockruff's evo, yes please ;v;

I'm so excited. The new Pokemon so far look amazing. And the fact that I can now ride Charizard? YES.

I was SO hyped to see the new forms for Sandshrew/Sandslash because they are some of my favorite Pokemon but then I realized that Ice/Steel is probably one of the worst typings in the game. :'O

I'm still very much excited for these games but I hate the final forms for the starters.... I really hope it's a joke because none of them look good at all. Other then that, everything else looks fantastic, they really have outdone themselves with these games.

I'm honestly praying that the starters' final evo "leak" will not be true. I don't think my heart could handle yet another Fire/Fighting starter. This generation marks the third time ever that I've deviated from getting the Water starter in one of the main-series games (not counting third iterations, like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, etc). I was so enamored with that little fiery furball. I'm still hoping it'll end up Fire/Dark.

I'm not crazy about them getting rid of gyms, either. I just feel that this Island Challenge is going to make the game really short in comparison, unless there's tons of post-game (like ORAS' Delta episode).

I really, really hope that Litten's final evo is not another damn fire/fighting type :'( Please, Nintendo, throw us a bone here. You did so well with Fennekin and making its last evo a psychic/fire instead. (Why are they so enamored by fire/fighting types? Is that just a thing that makes sense to them?)

I'm probably going to choose Rowlet and just breed a Litten and keep it as its first form if the fire/fighting thing does come true. I'm not entirely a huge fan of the leaked look for the kitty's final evo anyhow aha

I am super interested how they're going to cycle the gym + league formula out and replace it, since that's been a staple of the game for so long. Here's hoping that their new idea works really well and doesn't make the game too short. :c
