This is brand new and there are none in shops yet (none of the other quilt scraps either). I don't think I've ever had the privilege of pricing a new item so some help is needed ^^

Honestly I'm a bit salty with PC threads for newly released items since the prices will always be high before going down. There are some in the SS for 2m now, so it should give you an idea about where to start. It's a R68 so it will probably go for ~300k after few weeks then dive down to ~50k. It's always like this.

Yeah, I understand how it is. Basically I'm interested in knowing what a sensible starting price would be for any newly released rare wearables. 3 of the stencils that were released earlier this month have still price tags of well over 2mil, though I don't know if any are actually being bought for that price.

So, since the item is only worth what someone's prepared to pay for it, I put these in trades and I'll see what people are willing to offer (if anything, I haven't gotten any offers so far).

what makes these items so expensive is the high demand, otherwise they would have dropped just like the Butterfly Vases or the Art Sheets did. And tbh these items have a large potential to have a big demand so the price tag will stay high for a while.

Yep, usefulness and general desirability have a huge impact on item's price. And these scraps seem to be pretty desirable, just like the stencils ^^

(Which is a bit annoying too, since the Oracle asked me for a Diamond Stencil Sheet yesterday, and now I'm debating with myself whether to pay the current price (300k) for the stat boost, skip the quest completely or wait a bit longer for the price to drop.)
