Ok, so I was thinking about how my favorite part of Subeta (and really any other game that I play) is RESTOCKING. I love picking lower priced items from the shops and re-selling them higher in my shop. I got thinking... there HAS to be a way to do this in real life with real money. (besides furniture flipping, which I would like to try as well but it involves fixing up)... then I found out about Amazon FBA and the amazon seller app. Amazon app tells you how much a scanned item sells for on Amazon, plus shipping and whatnot and calculates how much money you could make on said item... then when you ship the item to amazon, they will pack it and list it under your store name.... then when someone buys it, they ship it and deal with the customer service so all you need to focus on is inventory. yup. going around town and scanning things, looking for super deals to sell on amazon sounds AMAZING. Has anyone ever tried this or any other flipping job? I'd love to hear about it.

Also, I wasn't sure where the appropriate place to put this thread was... it didnt seem to fit anywhere

lol the concept of restocking has always reminded me of ticket scalping. I like yours better.

hahaha well I suppose that works too. Scalping tickets seems like a jerk move though. I prefer to be less aggressive with my flipping lol... At least with this, I'm not raising the price on amazon. I'm simply taking advantage of deals i find. I am super excited. I've been you-tubing and looking at blogs about it. It seems legit.

EDIT FOR UPDATE:

I have just discovered that amazon also has an auto-price feature just as Subeta does. :)

Whoa. This doesn't appeal to me since I hate restocking, but that's pretty cool for those who do like it and are good at it. Have you tried this yet?

Aw, yeah it's pretty amazing. I personally have not started yet as I will need to save up for an Amazon Sellers account and for my first round of inventory.

I've told myself I will play it smart and once I've devoted a set amount to getting started, i will keep the funds separate and only put the profits back into flipping... so if I don't make the money back, then that is that and it was worth a try... and if I do make money back, then it goes right back into inventory and not into my pocket. Hopefully, i can get it to build slow and steady. I'm so excited to get started.... i'm doing all I can not to jump in head first and max the credit card on inventory right from the get-go... lol.... I must be patient.... ;___; it's killing me

Oooh it makes sense that it costs money for an account, but I didn't even think about that! Wow, that's a good plan hmm. Knowing when to wait is key, you can do it :)

Are you just going to sell random things you find or are there certain things you're going to stick to?

Random things because i'm looking for anything that can make a profit. When you first start there are lots of things you're not permitted to sell. Clothing, Jewelry, Food, Cosmetics,.... but I know I want to start out with mostly toys, electronics, board games, decor, and kitchen stuff anyways. I don't really want to sell things with an expiry date like food and cosmetics... but other than that I would buy anything that I can sell. My other rule i'm making for myself is that i'm only going to sell new things in their original packaging. I'm not going to do second hand... this is just for me to make sure that I keep good reviews on Amazon... if something isn't in perfect condition then I risk a bad review.. and amazon is pretty strict. I want to keep my account in good standing.
