Hello! I was searching through draped items and I stumbled upon this beaut ? I wanted to know if any of you knew what this dress would be called in real life, because I honestly want to get my hands on it hehe

(Ps, sorry my HA isn't wearing pants.. I'm waiting on some items to show up in my wardrobe)

I think I'd search for these descriptions: Halter Gowns Front Slit Halter Gown Draped Halter Gown Drape Halter Gown
Good Luck. It is very pretty.
Is that what the dress would look like irl? I can't imagine wearing that and the boobs not just popping out. Would the top part just lay on the chest or would it wrap around the boobs? I'm not a fancy dress kind of person.
It's in 's CW shop so you may want to ask them.
It is very pretty though.
Duh. I can't believe I didn't think of those.. Thanks!!
I have no idea.. you make good points, though. I just know I need a 3D printer or something right now! Haha

Subeta fashions are pretty weird sometimes.
For the boobage in RL and likely also to prevent sag in the derriere, you'd need doublesided sticky tape or a latex butt-glue. If the dress didn't also have the side cuts like the one shown, you could put a waistband or decorative heavy belt in that would be the countertug on the halter collar around your neck keeping the panel snug. As drawn, you could put a heavy buckle there (that buckles nothing) around the belly button to help weigh it down. You might not like to bend forward in any way unless you've got it well stuck on though.
The long center slit seems more problematic to me, because the lower hem seems to be long enough to hit the floor and drag on it even when you also interpret how the weird way the Subeta HA's flipper-feet are drawn. Either the whole thing would sweep back as you walk turning the skirt of your dress into a train with no dress at all (and you have interesting hose or panties) or you'd have to lift it to walk and direct your reliable escort to keep a strong hand steady on your back.
It seemed a little impractical so I thought maybe the creator changed the design to make it good for layering in the wardrobe. I always forget that sticky tape is a thing in fashion so that makes a bit of sense. Actually I thought maybe there was a part connected to the collar in the back that kept the part covering the butt from falling down since it seems to droop at the hips and rise at the butt. I guess sticky tape could fix that as well?
I didn't even notice the front slit. I've seen dresses before with long front slits and they seem to do fine, but it does seem like it would cause movement issues.
Thank you. Your post was very informative :)
I see it as a pillowcase dress with a gathered neckline (the kind usually worn by kids), so not actually backless. Unlike the kids' version, this comes with deeper cut sides and has been gathered at front - and probably held in place with sticky tape, like Solsticesprite suggests ^^
you are welcome, and fashion can be fun so it was interesting to think about. CWs are fun to see, but sometimes my brain just can't make out what the garment is from the two dimensional image,so I will amuse myself to think about just what it is.
I like 's idea that there might be a way to gather it in the back so that it doesn't show. Even though stickytape would still be required you could use a heavier fabric that way.
I've worn low rise lower garments and unless they're belted or stuck on any kind of bending results in cheekpop. Your butt-ness may vary. :) Me, I've gotten used to thinking about Subeta layers, so in RL I'd wear a contrasting very pastel lightly patterned bodysuit underneath, and act like I meant to that and that the designer liked me well enough that they wouldn't strike me off their list for doing that.
