I am not sure if there is information about this somewhere or if someone has a link to it?
Wondering if I could use a headshot art piece of my pet (still with correct color etc.) or if I had to use basically an edited version of the pets original full body image? This would be as a custom pet image. Also wondering if and what the image size limit would be?
Essentially it must be a full body and 200 x 200.
This is if you are paying to upload the image as a custom overlay.
Thank you, this will help me get an idea of what I can do. BTW cool forum art.
You could still have a larger image be displayed though or do both a full body and have the profile image be the headshot. The 200 x 200 Is again subject to paying 500 csc to use over official subeta art and displayed around the site not just the profile.
Thanks for the compliment on the art. :)
i don't think that's necessarily true? you can have whatever kind of image on the profile that you want, whether it's a headshot or a humanization of the pet or whatever. the only thing necessary is that the color and species are stated and not misrepresented.
I didn't mean the profile image but I get what you are saying about how I typed it. You are right on the necessary statings.
Just letting you know Frenchi is right. My statement was poorly worded.
Just to make sure I have it right: I can have any type of image on the profile within guidelines but... As far as the pet image/custom pet image shown site wide that must be 200 x 200 slightly edited version of the original pet image? Clear as mud? lol
it does not have to be an edit of official art. it can be completely custom art in any style drawn by you or someone who has given you permission to use it (whether you commissioned it, or they drew it for you as a gift). the only requirements are that it is within the site's PG-13 rating, you have permission to use it, and you are the only one using that image as an overlay.
