Yo so, lately I've been getting really bored and in need of rps to flesh out ocs of mine and I've been having cravings for specific genres but I'm pretty open to just about anything and oh god it's been so long since I've gone rp hunting I feel so awk rn so I guess I should tell you a little about me

I don't have many requirements as far as reply length, I just want something I can work with in a reply. I'm actually pretty chill with length as long as it's not like...a 1 sentence reply, like...1-2 paragraphs minimum, and even then I understand when the creativity just isn't flowing. :)
I typically only rp on email. Yes I realize that's probably a huge pain in the ass for most people, but I'm just not comfortable with rping on IMs given how it's really hard to format text or archive conversations, plus, I have a tendency to type a lot when I get in the creative mood. That being said I will however brainstorm and plot over IM and Skype and what have you. I used to do smail rps a long time ago, but not so much now, given smail's tendency to erase older messages the messages get longer and longer which I understand but given my need to archive and reread things it's irksome. however plotting over smail is allowed as well.
I love romance, I am a huge sucker for ships and romances and omg if we rp I am probably going to want to talk to you over IM or something and I'll send you music or tumblr posts or something and be all 'this is so totally (insert ship here)' that being said, I don't typically like to plot everything around romance and I'd like it to occur naturally so you don't really have to worry about my character just like...forcing your character into a relationship. I roleplay to flesh out my characters and to build a story, so any romances would be discussed first.
I personally have no real limits with rping so gore, death whatever the hell you want is alright with me, but if you have limits that's okay too, just make sure to tell me. SRSLY TELL ME also please let me know if you're over or under 18 so I know whether to curb my language or something idk. If you've read this far in any replies to this thread pls tell me your fav animal. My fav animals are cats (original I know lol)
Due to my work schedule I may not be able to reply to threads right away, but I WILL see the reply as my email is connected to my phone. Given my phone is a piece of shit I won't be able to reply to the actual thread when I am away from my computer, but I have the google hangouts app on my phone (a google instant messenger thing) and if we have that I'll probably be screaming about the reply and plotting things and in general talk to you about aus or something to keep you occupied until I am able to reply. (though sometimes at work they put me on the front register and I won't be able to respond due to constant manager/customer supervision. The joys of retail.
I'm mostly a mxf rper out of habit and am more or less comfortable playing either role but typically prefer doubling because the more characters the better right? I can try mxm and fxf but I wouldn't expect too much from me if only because I'm just now scratching the surface of the genre

AGAIN THIS IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE, This is just all my brain can think of off the top of my head if you have any suggestions feel free to share, really please, I won't bite


Established Universes (this list however is exhaustive given my limited experience with different media. Most of these if not all will be ocxoc because I don't feel comfortable portraying canon characters unless you want to play a canon character that's cool)

  Naruto (Oh god I'm so behind on this series I've only ever watched up till the one arc in Shippuden with the whole 'oh hey Gaara is the Kazekage now, so my knowlege is very very limited and if anything ocs are a must pls bear with me)

Dragon Age (I've played up through Inquisition (though I still have to beat awakening) that being said I would prefer an ocxoc pairing just to make things easier 

Pokemon (all caught up on the games so this is cool)

Warriors (I can do the original four clans though I only remember up until they move to the lake, if you want we can do our own clans because world building is actually really fun imo)

Bravely Default/Second (I can do ocxoc)

Assassin's Creed ( would prefer Brotherhood because I love Italy and Renaissance Italy to  be specific (plus the outfits are cooler) but AC3 and Rogue are cool too, Syndicate would also be interesting)

Dark Hunters (this would be really fun, though...I really need to catch up on the books I think the last one I read was Fang's novel and I'm reading them in the 'correct' reading order so I suppose I'm Pretty behind on that too)

Fruits Basket (would be cool with ocs and an entirely new zodiac cast I think but a similar theme) 

EDIT: I ALSO forgot the Percy Jackson universe, tho ive only read the first series
