i could have sworn there was a rule about double posting, but i've searched high and low and can't find one. is it allowed in small amounts? is it allowed at all? i'm asking because i was the last one to post on my adoption board, and i'd like to post again to tell the users about a deadline, but i don't want to do it without knowing i won't get in trouble for it

you simply aren't able to post twice in a row. you can always edit your post though. if you want to ping someone you previously pinged, you can either ping them again by deleting the ping, then reediting the post and pinging again, or just pinging them in a different case ie @ Gengar for the first ping and @ gENGAR for the second ping
