Pottermore has recently released a new sorting quiz for the North American wizarding school, Ilvermorny. Like Hogwarts, there are 4 houses into which one can be sorted:

Thunderbird Pukwudgie Wampus Horned Serpent

Pukwudgie sounds a bit more like Gryffindor, but hey I didn't get sorted into Slytherin this time lol Its almost always Ravenclaw or Slytherin for me

Named by Chadwick Boot after his favourite magical beast, the Thunderbird, a beast that can create storms as it flies. Thunderbird house is sometimes considered to represent the soul of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Thunderbird favours adventurers.

I think this is the coolest sounding new house. xD They don't give you much info on it though. I don't know if I'm really an adventurer.

I was sorted into Gryffindor on the Hogwarts quiz. I guess they're pretty similar.

I got sorted into Pukwudgie, which I wasn't too fussed with until I read the Ilvermorny backstory - love William!

I'm a Gryffindor at Hogwarts and I like the two together: bravery and heart. Like courage of the heart, or lionheart! <3

Me too! I was kinda like "oh" when I got Pukwudgie but then I read the backstory and was like "OH!" <3 <3

I wish I could be a Pukwudgie. It sounds the most like me. I ended up being sorted into Thunderbird, which sounds a lot more like Gryffindor to me haha.

On Pottermore there is a link to the story of Ilvermorny that explains all about the school, its founders, and all of the houses. :) I can't remember exactly where the link it but I think it's easiest to access from your Ilvermorny house page.

I think I am really more of a Ravenclaw. I don't think I'm particularly brave. I highly value knowledge.

i took the test last week and was sorted into thunderbird, compared to hufflepuff at hogwarts. i think that combination fits me pretty well.

I was sorted to Pukwudgie and I had a feeling that this house resembles Hufflepuff (which I belong to) in some way but according to Rowling there is no equivalence between houses of this two schools. Either way I like the results, it appeals to me that Pukwudgie favors healers.

Definitely was not expecting to get this house.

I'm absolutely the same way. I mean, I suppose I do have some bravery lying around somewhere, but I'm definitely more bookish, albeit more competitive than you'd expect from a Ravenclaw haha.

That's a great result! And I'm sure "warrior" is open to interpretation. You don't necessarily have to be formidable with a sword or spear to be a warrior - you can fight for truth, knowledge, justice, etc. :)

As for that link, it's fantastic! I feel like I fit in a LOT better with Pukwudgie, especially as in addition to my Ravenclaw-ness, I also have a lot of Hufflepuff traits - far more than any other house. I am also really adventurous, though, so I can't deny being a bit of a Thunderbird at heart, too.

Slytherin & Horned Serpent here! Honestly I was surprised about the Slytherin part, and haven't got a full grasp on the Ilvermorny houses, but having them match makes it my favourite combination.
