subeta does own them, yes. but i am not sure what that has to do with it other than they own both items now. I do know back when CWs first started they said no copying of site items.

When I was talking about ownership, I thought the vanity item was based on the CW, in which case Subeta can do that. But with it being the other way around, with the CW copying the site item, that's against the rules and ownership has nothing to do with it.

I certainly would hate it if they took the CW off the site. This kind of thing truly bothers me though. UGH! And you know what else I hate about CWs? (I know, you didn't ask!) back when CWs first started they always said items cannot be combined. FOr instance a wig could not have a hairband of other item in it. A dress couldn't have a distinguishable top and bottom that could potentially be a blouse/skirt. Now I see them all over the place. It bugs!

- I think if Subeta had an issue with it copying one of their items, they wouldn't have approved the CW in the first place? That being said, if I worked for Subeta in the CW approval department, I wouldn't have approved it because it's blatantly copying an official Subeta item design.

Item 184766 is called "Floral Robot Fabric" and is a recently-released piece of custom clothing.

The custom clothing rules say that custom items can't be made to resemble, or be edited versions of, existing Subeta items. Georgie's found a cheater (Holly) and is weighing the pros and cons of filing a ticket over it.

Usually, when I encounter rule breakers, I contact them first and if they fix it I leave it alone. But most of the times this has happened its minor stuff. There is no way this is a "mistake" - those patterns and colours are exact! I'd probably submit a ticket asking for a clarification of the rules, and not an accusation. After all, staff have changed the CW rules many times.

Well sure, if they noticed it was copy...I mean there are 73,823 unique items on the site, no one can be familiar with all of them! I certainly didn't recognize the vanity skirt off-hand, I "quoted" the OP to find out the names of the items.
