I'm wondering because I've made art and I'm ready to submit it, but now it looks like you have to pay CSC, which I have very, very little of. If so, the Custom Clothing page is not very clear with this fact at all.

you can syndicate, or you can pay it yourself, but the CSC must be paid yes.

The item type selection divides the types by cost, but yes that's the only place the page mentions the cost. If you advertise in the Custom Clothing forum first, and you can get 9 other people to claim slots on your item, you can charge them part of the cost (average tends to be 1/10th of the total cost + 100 CSC, wigs have been going for 700 a lot lately and backgrounds usually slot at 700 CSC). Anything over the cost of your item, you keep.

Or you can submit the item directly to your CW shop for 1000 CSC + minimum shop slot cost, you'll get one copy and then you can control how many copies go into your shop from there.

The problem is that I'm not sure my CW is something others would want to buy. I'm also not sure if the CW will fit Subeta's standards. Either way, thank you both for your help. I'll try your suggestion and see if anyone is interested.

The CSC gets refunded (no matter how it's submitted) if it gets denied c:

You can also post in the Custom Wearable Discussion forums to get advice from experienced artists who've dealt with submission before if you're worried that your art might not be up to par C:
