Weve has the same challengers for like a year now and its getting stale and monotonous. Would love to see them switched up. Maybe add the ghosts from the kiyo event, maybe some of the islanders from the islanders vs the pirates war, we have a pirate in the mix and we had the pirates come back temporatily, the islanders deserve some love too!
Seasonally changing the enemies would be awesome, but at this point even just a change up once a year would help a lot to make BQs less stale...

Yes, I think this would be great fun :) Even with Throwback Opponents, I think this is still a nice idea :)

Yes, please! Some more variety would be refreshing. Perhaps some of the Throwback opponents could be added to the mix after they are retired from the BC again?
I would like to see some BQ exclusive challengers that randomly dropping loot items (like 10 items, 1 per pet)
Variety would be nice in the middle levels for me, especially because I'm stumbling through without advice and generally only get to level 16-17 before I can't get any further (coughthough I guess if I looked into set advice or sought help that would change things a littlecough). I don't know that variety in the low levels is really going to be noticed by most people, since they're one-hit battles for many, maybe two-hit if you're still new to battling and training.
Another suggestion on this note, it would also be nice if you don't get the same opponent you skipped.
IE if you skip GE, you still have the chance to get him when you restart the same quest And it's rly annoying

As a somewhat new battler I'd love to get a chance to battle old event challengers. Now we do get a chance with throwback, but it'd be nice to add them to the Battle Quest regardless considering you can't get special loot out of it.
But yeah, level 1-20 I just battle without even paying attention and the rest of the battle quests aren't much more exciting either. Personally I haven't gotten annoyed by it yet, I still do BQs first when I come online as well, but adding some variety really wouldn't hurt. Maybe create some challengers that are only accessible through the battle quest? Reischen could become a level 30 boss battle.
I'm also really annoyed by getting the same challenger after skipping, but I think making it impossible to get the same challenger after skipping would just make the BQs a lot more easier and predictable? I think it could be more balanced if it was just impossible to get the same challenger twice. That would also lead to a little less monotonous battling, at the very least.
Personally, it just seems like there are simply not enough challengers for each section. The last five levels are just a 50:50 chance to me whether I can beat them or not, so it seems to me that much stronger battlers will just get bored super easily by the BQs.
this would be fixed somewhat if there were more challengers though. with such a limited pool, it's easy to get the same one over and over again. if the pools were larger, I don't think this would need to be implemented. if you have bad luck, you have bad luck.
I'm always up for different battlers. Really haven't been into doing BQ's because it's the same opponents and it's gotten kind of boring.
Support for this ~
Especially since we have a lot more CS challengers now, it would be nice to have a bit more variety in the BQs.
Still support it. Sick of seeing mostly Crawbeast on level 25-30.
Oh please! This would be amazing! True, I can't even fathom beating level 26+ yet, but throwing in more to every level would be fabulous!
Secret, cash shop, throwback! There are so many to chose from! I hate when I skip one opponent, only to get them again on the very next try. A broader pool would really help this issue.
I honestly don't understand why BQs don't just pull from the entire challenger pool, minus world bosses, obviously.
Like, they don't give out prizes, just exp and a shitty weapon. Is there a reason?
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
Well, I think there would still have to be some decisions to be made regarding it, because even among Impossible level challengers some are significantly more difficult than others. The more difficult opponents for the given difficulty level of the 5-level group tend to happen on the 5th level. So like, level 30 could I guess involve more of the really difficult ones.
But I would still like to see levels 26-29 not necessarily be easy, but not as difficult as the level 30 challengers. So it shouldn't be just completely random choices from all of the challengers, but I definitely think there should be some more variety. It would ultimately be up to the battle admins to decide how easy or difficult they want BQs to be though, I guess.
I'd be for this. It's always general error and crawbeast at the... 25th level (or so)? It's annoying to only get them when there should be other things to fight sometimes too. :P
Example, I rarely see the shark(bonesaws?) around that level or the flame elemental (flamalga?). Instead? It's. Always. CRAWBEAST. bleh
I too would like this. Maybe then I could skip Chase and not get him for the next fight.
Oh yes... I hate having to fight the same challenger like 4 times in a row! Or skipping a challenger and getting the same one next!
I don't like this Suggestion. BQs are already quite generous, especially if your pets are high tier. Buying training takes a big chunk of RL time, plus 50-100KsP per stat, not to be sneezed at.
If you are doing regular ol' quests, you don't get 'a wider variety of things' of the things that particular quest grantor requests, and if you skip a quest you don't necessarily get a quest that you like better. There's no reason battlers should get special treatment.
I think of this like an RP thing. You take your drill as assigned to you by Reichsen and you like it. It is battly/soldiery stuff after all. Reichsen may or may not accept your plea for something different if you pick the Skip button, but sometimes he doesn't. Doing your reps at the gym may not be particularly fun, but y'know, you do them anyways...right?
