Well, all 4 gun control laws were rejected. I was really hoping something productive would come out of the filibuster but I guess not.

I'm not surprised by the outcome. The gun industry has a big grip on everything and a lot of people value weapons and liberty has the same freedom. However it is disappointing to see, especially in the light of recent events.

It's something I expected, still disappointing to hear though.

One can only hope it shows how awful the far (and not so far) right is, but then again they seem to have a lot of supporters.

The NRA has huge Republican sway.

The House Democrats did stage a sit-in on the 23rd which ended today, but nothing came of it though.
