I sell Avon. No I am not trying to get customers I am just ranting. One customer ordered 2 rings equaling 25$ with tax and delivery to her house. The order was supposed to be pulled March 18th and she said she was going to pay me that day. I never got paid. I was unable to cancel the order so the order went out and she received her rings. I am now out the 25$ which I CANNOT afford to pay out of pocket. I myself have no money and i'm stressing about this. It's only 25$ but a lot to me. I have contacted her many times. Told her to send the money, or send the rings. Which she keeps saying yes I will now has blocked me.
If I was you, it'd be less about the money and more about becoming a thorn in her side until she gets the message. I'd take her to small claims court (use Google and search "small claims court" and you'll find out where you have to go to do so) and subpoena her. If she refuses to go, she's in contempt, and can be jailed.
Silence is golden... Duct tape is silver.
I threatened her with legal action and I got 20$ out of 25$ so I am happy.
what was the reason you could not cancel the order? and have you tried contacting your boss about this? i know how avon is kind of an independent thing, but couldn't you contact customer service, or something?
I had to cancel before 8:30 hoping she would pay before then. I was not at home. I did contact my boss there is nothing that could be done. I had to pay it. I contacted customer service right after the order went through and they messaged me the next day saying the order was already shipped. I got 20$ out of 25$ from the girl
man, that sucks. i'm sorry about that. maybe next time just wait till you get the money until you ship out the item? (:
ah, i see. then shouldn't the company be at fault?
no because I did not get the money and did not cancel the order. It's my fault. The order goes out and I pay after I receive the order. Hard to explain
