Hi everyone! I'm Zoa - found Subeta via a link in someone's siggy for Magistream. Am very pleased with joining here. I participate in a few pet-adoptable/click-to-grow sites, and kinda miss the whole gather/collect thing that used to be on Neopet. I'm an old-skool Neopet person, joined before they got really popular and I just cannot get used to all the changes there. I think I'll enjoy my time here more than there. :)

Only thing I feel is missing is a monkey-type of pet... sorry, is just how I am (being born in the year of the Earth Monkey myself - hehe). Or is there one and I'm missing it?

Anyhoo - I'm a web-geek (developer/publisher) and enjoy these sites as a distraction from coding and working on adapting business solutions into web apps. Born & raised in Hawaii, spent many years along the East Coast, came home because... well, Hawaii. :D Miss my sons and grandbabies in a major way - but we connect often via the web and sites like these.

Technology is grand.

Thank you for the links. Right now about my only frustration is getting rid of an extra bookmark tab - dunno how to get rid of it.

If you really want you can actually also custom overlay (either via code on your pet's profile), or sitewide if you pay CSC

I have customCSS that hides the bookmarks view but have you tried 'Bookmarks' under Personal > User dashboard?

Actually on second thought maybe the manchu is more of a raccoon... It could work for a monkey character though, especially if you got a pet overlay. Good luck!

is right, there is the Manchu, but it's kind of more of a lemur than a monkey. Weird that we don't have an outright monkey pet.

I've always wanted to visit Hawaii but as a student have no way to make a conscientious trip there right now. Maybe in the future!

Yeah, I looked hard at the Manchu for a while before going with the Ferret (fave pet - long stories there) - but am not really a Lemur person. :d

okay.... just got off work so going to relax a little bit, unwind, then go to bed. Has a super long/big day today - cleared 3 holds on my college registration and that was a whole lotta stress that finally went byebye! (returning to school after a long, fruitful career)
