I am adopting out Kaosu, my female steamwork feli. I found her in the pound and thought she would be fun to create a character around, but I've decided someone else would probably be better off with her.

I'm hoping someone who is pretty active on Subeta would like to take her so that she doesn't just sit around.

Is there anything to do aside from just let you know I'm interested? Sorry, I've just been browsing threads here and some people have requirements, so I'm not really sure how adopting works here. I am interested, though, she's so pretty and steampunk robotic...

I'm really just wanting her to go to someone who's active on subeta and will do something with her so she's not just sitting in some account somewhere. It looks like you've only been a member for a short while. Would you have any character plans for her perhaps?

I've only joined recently, yes, so I'm still getting accustomed to the site. Which is why I don't know how the forums work quite yet. ^^; Certainly I'd take care of Kaosu... as far as plans in general go, the Donation Corner was recently flooded with Steamwork apparel, so I snagged a few items, one of them being a Silver Mechanical Octopus. Which I think would be nice to put in Kaosu's treasure; a curious, playful feline with a more stoic companion, both of them from the same workshop, the octopus having latched on unnoticed and followed Kaosu to her new home. She could have a Delicate Brass Pocket Watch, as well; cats like things that swing in front of them, so it'd be a cat toy she picked up at the workshop. I could get her a Mechanicat Plushie to keep as a more literal /cat/ toy to take up the third treasure slot. I'd be training her up the same as I do my other five, and likely leave her in the resort with them to make sure she'd stay fed and happy. I wouldn't be changing species/colour on her because she's a beautiful robotic cat and I love both robots and cats, so she's already perfect. I don't know what minion to get her yet, hm...

As far as creating a character around her, I like the theme of "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back again"-- Kaosu constantly getting into things around the workshop and always being fine from it since as long as her parts were fixed up she was functionally immortal, so she has no real sense of danger anymore. Very friendly and curious, which is how she met the octopus, by trying to figure out what it was and winding up batting it across the room. Since I intend to try my hand at writing little story-profiles for my pets, she'd likely wind up with one of those, and some sort of overlay, so the characterisation would get more detailed in there as I started work on it.
