I decided to wait a while before posting this since I know they've been working at tweaking things since they announced the whole new shops thing back in...April was it now? Wow time flies. Anyway. I recall them mentioning that some of the achievements (specifically the shop till and making a living ones) would be transferred over to the new shops. I remember seeing the option to import my shop till, but I never saw anything similar for the Making a Living achievement.

As I recall - which I might be recalling badly, I do admit - it said that the highest earning shop under the old shops would transfer it's 'amount made' to the new shop. Yet even now when I click through the tabs on the new shop I can't find any 'amount made' or where this might have happened.

I know I'm just really sad because I was really close to getting another achievement there (and as of today I would've gotten that achievement), but I don't suppose anyone could help a girl out? Am I missing something?

It just adds up on the Achievement page -- if you hit the Edit Shop tab it'll update the total there.

Ooo. I'll have to watch it closely next time I get some purchases to make sure it's doing that. Maybe I had a bit farther to go to the next level then I thought then (since it has me as still 5mil away). Thank you

Yeah, I had the exact same problem when they changed over, but it's working perfectly now that I know where to look. Hopefully it's working for you too!

Do you know if it still carries over if we empty our shop till? I still have all the profits from my old shop in my new shop's till and don't want to empty it unless I know it won't affect my progress towards the achievement.

There are two separate achievements related to shop profits. There is one for having a certain amount in your till at one time. And there is another for your overall profits in your shop, regardless of if you remove it from your till or not. The second one should count your progress from your old shop plus your new shop, even if you've transferred some stuff.

Oh gosh. Thanks . I just noticed that the lifetime profits weren't on my new shop, but they are definitely still going up in the achievement page now that I've checked. I was close to the billion mark on my old shop so I was really concerned ;n;

Glad it solved the problem for you! I'm on the last tier as well, so I would've been pretty upset if it wasn't working.
