I just noticed the old thread was locked and it was really old anyway, so I decided to make a new one.
For those who haven't heard, you can now take the quiz on Pottermore. You need to have an account if you don't already. It's really neat. You can take the sorting hat quiz for both Hogwarts and Ilvermorny, and a wand quiz.
I took the quiz and got a St. Bernard dog
Also, if you go to google and enter, "insert your patronus meaning tumblr", there are several pages that give you an explanation of your patronus. This is mine:
Those with this patronus are playful and bright in character. To cast this patronus takes a large and loyal heart.
People with this Patronus are typically thoughtful and committed. Once they pledge allegiance to someone, those who cast the st Bernard show true commitment to friends, family and lovers. Ever thoughtful, those who cast this patronus can seem in their own world.
Those who cast the St Bernard are very positive and emotional, often warm and bright. Those with the St Bernard can sometimes be hurt easily by others but more often than not, offer a ray of sunshine in a dark world.
Often adventurous, conjurers of this patronus are always looking for fun. Often following a quest all of their own.
This patronus is most commonly found in Hufflepuff but also common in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. It is unusual but possible for this patronus to be in Slytherin.
My patronus would probably be a fox or dolphin honestly. c: I'd be surprised if it was anything else.

A jellyfish. Why? Imagine a giant silvery jellyfish chasing dementors. That's why.
Hi. I followed over here, and hope I'm not post-crashing, but the topic looked so cool I wanted to reply.
Mine would probably be hm. A sparrow. People underestimate sparrows a whole lot, but yet a sparrow is terrifying if you make one mad.

Me too. But then I tend to like any animal that can be sorely underestimated. Like those bombadier beetles. XD

I think/hope mine would be an Octopus! Not my favorite animal, but they're still really really cool!
My husband and I have discussed this a few times before. We came to the conclusion that mine would be a sea turtle.
(Coincidentally mine isn't my favorite animal either lol)
You're not crashing, this is for everyone who didn't get to post on the first thread. I tagged the Hufflepuff group just because. I'd tag the other house groups but I don't know their tags
I thought mine would be a fox too but after thinking about it for a while, I think it would be a bear
I love foxes, I really do identify with them. My favourite animal is the elephant.
Although if we're going with animals that might not be traditional, I might end up with a badger. Not because of my Hufflepuff pride but because to me, patronuses mirror your soul in some aspects. So yeah... I'll have to change the dolphin to badger. So Fox or badger for me.

My favorite animals are penguins. Foxes are pretty awesome.
Hmm. If that is the case, I still think it would be a bear or some type of dog. I'm loyal and protective of those around me but I'm also really laid back too.
And no need to be sorry. It's kind of hard to choose. I think the idea of a penguin chasing after a dementor is super funny

I'm a huge HP fan, and I've wondered what my Patronus would be so many times. I've rested, after much deliberation, on a dog; loyal, protective, loving. I have a Golden Retriever or Labrador in mind, but there's something charming about the thought of a little Pomeranian attacking a Dementor!
My husband and our besties seem to think mine would be a Great White Shark, and the very image of a Dementor getting chased around by JAWS incarnate is hilarious XD
I don't like bullies, and have a multitude of teeth when provoked or someone I love gets hurt; but I'm also kind of solitary and I like my own space...so if we're going on the HP world lore, I think mine would most likely be a Honey Badger. It's not my favourite animal (I'm more of a Tibetan Mastiff person myself), but it fits I think :)
