So SpiritedLass made some suggestions here and I thought it might be a good idea for us to actually update the Vending Guide as there have been some big changes. Remember all of that item tagging way back when that Keith asked us all to do? I'm pretty sure it has to do with the vending machines as the keywords are not necessarily what we have listed anymore.

For example, Grave Digger keywords are now "brown", "dead", "graveyard", and "green". Restock locations are still Seedlings, Minions Market, and Grooming Parlor.

Burning Chance keywords are "blood", "dark", "evil" "fire", "red". The "red" keyword is obnoxious because it allows items such as "Predictable Love Stories Book Tape", "Navy Plain Tiered Skirt", "Cherry Flavored Syrup", and "Chocolate Covered Corncob". As far as I can tell, the restock locations are still the same.

Also, the rarity cap at all vending machines is now 60. The only exception to this is Ocean Depths.

As for her suggestion of the Job Agency stuff, there's a pretty good guide already on the Subeta forums, here.

Perhaps we can keep some notes here?

I know there's been changes, but with the vending items so crappy, I haven't vended much to figure out all the changes.

I'm willing to pick a machine or two and vend for a couple days and track. Looks like Burning chance and grave digger are covered.

I'll volunteer for Shining Crane and Frosty Claw. Of course my limits are smaller now while living blue in protest.

- I've been vending a lot lately because I'm really close to getting that final tier of the vending achievement. I should have it by the end of the week! fingers crossed I don't mind taking notes on all of the machines if you want to save your tokens ;)

No problem. I have tons of tokens and nothing really to spend them on. LOL its not as if I ever find anything in BHH!

Sadly, that's probably true. But it doesn't hurt (much) to try anyway. Vending these days, though pretty useless in the items you get, is so much nicer and smoother than in used to be.

Why, youngster, back in my day, you had to actually click on the red button and wait 5 minutes for the page to refresh. Heaven forbid if you clicked before the page fully loaded, 'cause then you'd get an error message accusing you of trying to cheat! Nah....in spite of the uncertainty of the achievements, you got it easy! :P

Youngster? Technically I was here before you! I remember a lot of the early stuff (species changing names, moving to different domain names, the two-player Battle Coliseum for example) before I lost interest and went on hiatus.

While that's technically true, I'm still allowed to call you youngster since I'm older than you and its my birthday :P

I remember the early days of vending... They totally sucked, but at the same time, you could get some really awesome stuff! And I remember when the Wizard gave out SBQ items along with tokens... It was glorious!

I think the only machines that are worth vending are the ones that give food and occasionally Ocean Depths. There was a little bit of a bug for a while where Blue Moon was giving higher rarity objects and the occasional collection item. That was nice, but it looks like it's been fixed.

ahhh the early days of vending! I loved them so! You could set all ten of them at once to auto refresh on the results page. It was so nice! My shop would always have 20k-25k items in it. I miss those days!

How would it be if I vended one machine exclusively and threw it all in a separate shop and someone else (who doesn't have to go to STUPID WORK for a while) figures out what the keywords for it are?

I would prefer either celebration gift or the OD but I will take whatever.

• Notes: Restocks books that are not found in Book Nook; "Sun" may also be a keyword (more data needed).

Dragons Hoard - Riverside

• Keywords: Green
• Restock Locations: Clothing Rack, Grooming Parlor, Sole Train
• Notes: Special items include the Dapper Plaid collection (I don't know if these still drop - I haven't gotten one for a while); There could be additional keywords (more data needed).

Celebration Gift - Delphi Carnival

• Keywords: Game, Green
• Restock Locations: Bake Stop, Carnival Stand, Food Market, Get Mugged, Half Baked, Quick Bites, Rathskeller Inn, The Lost Skeleton
• Notes: Popular machine for grabbing baking supplies.

Prize Get - Centropolis Lower West Side

• Keywords: Lilac, Purple
• Restock Locations: Defend and Conquer, Weapons Warehouse
• Notes: Personal history shows a stronger probability of receiving an item with a keyword over an item from one of the restocking locations (more data needed for confirmation).

Frosty Claw - Arctic Frost

• Keywords: Ice
• Restock Locations: Icy Goods, Plushie Parlor, Toy Box
• Notes: Seasonally, Avalanche Emporium items will also be vended from Frosty Claw; "Arid" or "Light" may also be a keyword (more data needed).

Shining Crane - Sacred Lands

• Keywords: Gray, Light, White
• Restock Locations: Cavern of Curios, Spells Galore
• Notes: Heavily favors "Twilight" items when referring to the "Light" keyword.

Ocean Depths - Omen Islands

• Keywords: Blue, Sea, Water
• Restock Locations: Accessories Bin, Clothing Rack, Icy Goods, Sole Train
• Notes: Ability to receive items above the rarity cap of 60; Personal history includes a Genetech Combo item (Checking that with ).

Blue Moon - Ziara

• Keywords: Blue, Star
• Restock Locations: Atebus Shop, Bits and Bytes, Trading Card Center
• Notes: Seasonally, Migrating Masks items will also be vended from Blue Moon; Still awards "Old Brass Key" as a special item.

- Did all of those items come from the OD vending machine? I'm trying to figure out how the Antlephore weaponry plays in... Are some of the items from Prize Get? If so, I think I can see the patterns.

That shop is stuff vended only from the OD.
