Okay, so to make it clear, this problem is ONLY on Subeta, and has been around for... the last month or so. I have Windows 10, and I use Google Chrome.

It isn't ALWAYS. Sometimes the back button will work. But sometimes when I press the back button, the page.. it'll pretend like it's refreshing, but it doesn't go back to the page before it. And I have to hold the back button to pick which page I want to go back to, because if I just click the back button, it refuses to go back. In fact, if I press the back button too often before I just hold it down to tell it which page to go to, it'll say that I've been on my current page at least twice in a row, sometimes three or four.

Y'all, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just a nerd who's not used to human interactions anymore.

Yep I've noticed this, though not only for the past month. Its been happening for a long time for me. I never use the back button on Subeta, its gotten me in trouble several times. Most damaging is buying a second item I never intended to.

My "solution" is simply to use other ways to navigate, or, and I don't know if this applies in Chrome, but in FF I can click a little arrow next to the back button that allows me to go back selectively - that generally skips the problems.

Usually, if I know I'll want to go back to a page I'm navigating away from I'll open in a new tab, then simply close the tab to "go back."

I'm honestly not sure if it's only been a month or not. It's just been a month since I figured out that it's ONLY Subeta. If I go to another pet site or on Facebook or Google or anywhere else, it's not a problem.

I actually think this was something done intentionally to prevent double-purchasing/crediting/etc. Using the back-button is usually frowned upon, especially since browsers handle them in different ways.

it's in random places, though. Like going to my vault before going back to whatever page I was on before. Or trying to go back to another page on a forum instead of having to scroll all the way through again. Frowning on a back button is silly. I get frowning on a refresh button, but going back to where you came from is a totally normal thing to do.

I would assume it's more based on page you were trying to return to. Refreshing is also frowned upon as well.

Like Lypsyl, I usually open a new tab instead of navigating away, so I don't really ever encounter this.

Really not sure why its frowned upon, I use it all the time when I'm on other sites. Its useful especially when I go down the rabbit hole of links, not quite sure where I started from. Most useful is when I head down a link path I think will take me where I want to go, but then realize I took a wrong turn somewhere.

A lot of the time it works just fine, even on Subeta. But I've had enough problems with it that I generally don't use it here anymore.

Because there are so many people who become upset when it ends up purchasing an item/sending a score/etc. an additional time. :(

I've noticed the issue on all computers I use except for my Mac (using Firefox) which just lags incessantly when I try going back. Even on my Android it'll do something similar using the Dolphin browser. I can't hold the back button in either case to select where I want to go; it'll just skip me back 2-3 pages. Clearing my cache more often on a Windows machine seems to help.
