I'd like to get the Blistered Hearts skin, but as far as I can tell, there's no way to nab the virus for it anymore. Or there is, and I just haven't found it yet. Can anyone give me some clarity on this subject? Or if anyone has a good recommendation for a skeleton mask/clothing piece that would do something similar to my avatar, that would work.

you have to wait until the survival event next spring, but it will most likely come back then and you'll be able to get it then :)

You're going to save to wait until the Survival holiday (Mid-February to the start of March) next year. There will be a clinic where you can volunteer for a zombie strain and for a fee, you can pick which one you want.

As for clothing, maybe the Diluted Virus Dose?

There's lots of skeleton parts wearables, I found this out when hiding out as a zombie without being infected a few years back. To find out what they are, it might be easier to post in the Human Avatars forums because folks there would know their names better than I can remember them.
