Hello! I decided to finally join this website after being recommended it several times in the past. I'm a bit confused at the moment, as there's so much to take in whenever you join a new place, but so far I'm liking it here!

As far as introductions go -- you can call me Lucas, Bot, or just my username, Robit. I love science, robots, computers, video games, cartoons, toys, and pretty much every animal (yes, including and especially the 'gross' ones).

I'm really not sure what else to say here (if it wasn't obvious, I'm not the best at introductions), but I look forward to seeing all this site and its community has to offer!

I know that you've said you like every animal, but do you have a favourite? And I see that you like video games too. I prefer to watch people place them, but my personal favourites are games like Town of Salem, Fibbage, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, etc. I think most people consider them softer games. What are your favourite video games? Do you watch any gaming channels on Youtube?

It's really hard for me to pick a favorite animal. Some that I really like are isopods, fish (especially sharks), spiders, snakes, horses, and dogs. I'm always "standing up" for animals people see as scary or evil, and I know a LOT about pet care of all sorts, so I tend to get on people's tails about proper aquarium cycling and lizard substrate and whatnot. : P

I like to say I have the Nintendo Seal of Quality on my soul. I love nearly all Nintendo games (even if I'm not that great at some of them), but my favorites are the Mother series and 3D Mario games (64, Galaxy, 3D World, etc.). I'm also extremely fond of Mario Kart, since it was one of my first favorite games and I happen to be very good at it, haha. Aside from Nintendo, I like indie games with interesting graphics, story, or both. One of my favorite games of all time is Undertale, a pixelated game about monsters that has a beautiful story and wonderful world to explore. I could go on and on about it...but I won't here. Just know it's very good. I too like to play simulation-type games. I haven't played Stardew Valley yet, but it's on my Steam wishlist. Minecraft is always fun too. "Casual" games are just as much games as any action AAA title, and they have just as much love and effort, if not more, put into them. I don't get it when people crap all over those games and the people that play them, honestly.

I'm not big on youtube gaming channels, but I do like to watch Let's Plays to relax or if I don't have enough money or skill to have/complete a game. My favorites are Markiplier (such a sweetheart even if his constant yelling sometimes gets on my nerves), Cryaotic (I like to watch him play horror and emotional games especially), and Chuggaaconroy (an even bigger Nintendo nerd than me and a very informative LPer).

I see you like computers and robots. I'm curious if you're into programming or robotics at all? I'm a computer science person myself and I'm always happy to meet somebody with the same interests. I haven't done any robotics, though.

And I also like more "scary" animals, haha. One of my favorites is the scorpion. I actually really want to get an emperor scorpion as a pet someday! Do you or have you had any pets?

I'm all about sticking up for the weird, unloved animals, but most of them still make me pretty darn squimish, even if I find them interesting. Like the isopods. They're the ones that bite out the tongues of fish and then replace them, right? Makes me shudder just thinking about it!

I've played Undertale! I love it so much. :) I managed to complete the pacifist run through, but I abandoned the genocide run when I killed Goat Mum. I liked your stance on casual gaming. I find that, with the absence of action, game developers need to find different ways to keep players interested. I definitely agree that they tend to have more love put into them.

I feel like I might have watched Cry before! Which was his most popular game? It was a horror game, right?
