Hi everyone! My name is Cheryl but you can also call me Happy, Happyheart, or any variations of my username if it's easier to remember. Fun fact- My real name actually translates to "happy heart", which is where my username comes from :)

I just started playing 2 days ago and I really like Subeta so far. I've played a bunch of similar-themed websites, but none are quite like this one. For one thing the art on this site is really awesome. I love dress-up games so I was really happy to find I can dress up a human avatar here (and there's so many beautiful clothing options!!) And the pets are all so cool looking, I had a hard time deciding which ones and what colors I wanted to have.

Anyway, about me... I'm a young adult, and I really love to write, draw, and code. I've been writing poetry for as long as I can remember, and it's always been a huge passion of mine. Recently I've been trying to write more stories and prose. I started drawing about a year ago (digitally, using Photoshop) and my drawings are all really cute. (I can't do any other styles... as much as I try.) Finally I really love programming. I'm currently earning a living as a web developer/designer, but I like other areas of code too.

Other than that... I like cute plushies and have a really big collection of them, and I also drink a LOT of coffee. Mmm coffee.

Link to a sci-fi web-series I'm currently doing.

I go from non-fiction to fiction. From well crafted stories to 'haha this is so stupid I have to write it'. I tend to stick to fantasy and sci-fi in my fiction.

Am going to get two e-books out hopefully this year. Both are in the editing stages and I've been so busy haven't had a chance to edit them yetXD

gasp :O Yeah, I drink a lot of tea, it's like my main drink, but I'm English so that's normal over here. I've tried coffee but idk I just can't get to like it. I lived in Italy for a little while and started drinking cappuccinos, and I really liked them, but anything else is way too strong for me :P in Italy they call cappuccinos children's coffee lol xD

I will definitely check out your writing later! Probably tomorrow as I've been super out of it today XD I actually stayed up all night last night, so today was not a day for doing anything serious.

You're English, that does explain the tea :) I actually really love tea myself as well, except I enjoy oriental teas more than the English kind, because I am Chinese. I have a lot of tea containers in my kitchen that my family brought over from China. It's really great. By the way, you should feel free to link me to your writings as well if you're comfortable sharing. I think I will make tomorrow a reading day ^^

You been out of it due to stress? Blog work and commissions are the only reason I'm able to keep focus at timesXD

Stress, partially... To be honest it was quite a strange build up of things. I got quite depressed over the weekend for some reason, and I couldn't bring myself to do any of the work I had to do. I just lay around feeling frustrated and useless. Then, late last night, I kinda forced myself to get up and be productive. I stayed up all night doing the work I was supposed to have done earlier...

It's great to be able to set my own hours for work, but sometimes it backfires like that. I normally don't have so much trouble with motivation though... :(

Thanks for the tip! I did some reading in the art forums and made a post there. It's not very fancy but I hope I get some interest, as I really need sP. I'm trying to finish up the Omen Islands map right now, and I have the two most expensive pieces left. I only have a few mil on my account because I can't control my wardrobe spending XD

Your art is adorable! And you've only been drawing for a year! You're only going to get better and your art is already great. I wish you the best with your art shop. I might have to try and find it. :)
