A few months ago I adopted a new kitty... he's Satan's spawn and lives up to his name, Cujo. This cat acts like a dog, in more ways than one... this includes panting after some intense play:

Does your pet do anything weird?
[User=reya] Aww your kitty sounds adorable and i love the name you chose for him. I'm unable to see the pictures though, for some reason they're blocked for me.
My kitty Honey Bee loves playing with our dog Mr. B. One time we caught her in the backyard chasing him. xD
She also seems to not meow but meows in spurts almost like a dog when it barks. She also likes to sleep insode the dog's cage and when we bring in Mr. B she tries to playfully fight him for the spot.
Btw your HA looks beautiful.
[Edit] Oh now i see him! He's cute!
Will write a better description ha ha!
haha so cute and fluffY!!! _
I think I have already told you about all the weirdness of my cat. Chili is my little snuggle monster and loves to be pet and have her tummy rubbed. She's super talkative and I think she acts more like a dog than a cat. She does tricks for treats, she knows how to sit and wait for her food, I've even seen her do the closest thing to barking for a cat when she sees small animals o.O; She is very curious and does weird things like THIS. She will follow me around EVERYWHERE too just so I pet her. It's cute until you're showering and there's your cat....sitting right outside of the shower curtain waiting for you to come out...
[edit]
Oh! I forgot about the party hats! When I first put on a party hat as a joke for her birthday, her eyes got super huge and all she could do was just stare at it. She wouldn't even look at me or what I was doing, just the hat. It was like she was trying to tell me, omg there is a THING on your head!! XD
Haha, my sister's Maine Coon is nicked named pants because he looks like he is wearing them Sirus His name should be Sirius, after Sirius Black but public school education reasons (she missed the second I when reading the books the first time)
My sister's calico moos when she wants human food.
Her tabby, Nixon, has adopted me because I've been sad about the death of my dog last month. He has taken upon himself to lay on my chest and lick my face. It's very nice of him because it's not the same as Anna's (my former dog). Nixon's tongue is like a stinky brillo pad
I don't know if this is weird or not, but most people think it's weird. I think it's weird. I've never seen cats do it. But my male cat, Hermes, (neutered) mounts my spayed female, Tyche, and just awkwardly humps her while she angrily maos. I shave him, so I know he's neutered. But he's so strange.
Tyche will go into a dark place when you hold her. It's a good face.
I came here expecting cats in pants. :( I am currently petless except for the hedgehog but he just sits there being grumpy. Nothing too weird.
Dexter by ❤
Not gonna lie, I thought It was pants that had cats on them when I first saw the ping topic and was like "oh kitty pajamas??? How cute!!" And was a little disappoint haha
Just so you know, panting can be a sign of respiratory problems and/or stress in cats. Just something to keep an eye on and maybe bring up on your next vet trip :) hopefully it's no big deal.
My ridiculous fluffball, Birch, has a huge vocabulary of coos and mrrts that she talks to me in. (She also likes boxes and making chittery noises at squirrels and birds through the window but that's pretty normal cat stuff.)
they/them/theirs, please.
Not a weird habit, but both my kittens sleep on my bed with me. But the older, French Fry suckles on my comforter.
I also came here expecting pants with cats on them xD I have two kitties - a tuxedo named Severus and a Birman/Persian named Nimhe. Nimhe is just a grouchy girl who doesn't like to be held or pet or talked to or looked at, but if all the lights are off she will cuddle with you and purr and kneed and be super sweet. Severus is still pretty much a kitten - he's almost a year old. He attacks everything that moves including shadows, toes, the whiskers on his face - and my husband has to make sure his robe is CLOSED when he walks... other wise he gets attacked in sensitive areas.
Sadly French Fry got stamped on Sept 7. I just spazzed out at the sight. Then one month later the younger kitten, Molot Cbeta, met the same fate. That's why I prefer to not make attatchments...they just end up dying.
And to compound the matter, I adopted two black kittens and October is close...I shudder.
flails The kitty is smiling!! squees like a kid on caffeine
I have two kitties, Holly and Emma. Holly basically sleeps, eats, and whines. She's a very well-behaved cat though and super sweet. Sometimes when I'm getting ready to go to work, she'll lay on my shoes to try and stop me leaving, because she knows shoes = mama going to work. She's about 7 years old and a brown tabby. Emma is a little crazier. She's a russian blue mix, so she's suuuuper soft. When you scratch above her tail, she makes the weirdest noises. I wouldn't even know how to describe it, but other cat people will know what I'm talking about I think, lol. She also sleeps right by me every night, snuggles and all. When it's really cold she gets under the blanket. They both absolutely love plastic bags. If there's one on the floor, they'll fight over who gets to lay on it, so I have to have two on the floor always. They both also meet me at the door when I come home from work, like dogs lol.
As a black cat owner, keep the kittens indoors. At all times, all hours, of October. No window sitting (they'll be harassed, honestly...), no outdoors, etc. It's the only way they're going to stay safe unfortunately. The stigma around black cats still exists when it really shouldn't. Shelters won't even adopt out black cats during October for these very reasons; it's too risky. :(
Oh, yes I know well that stupidity. Midnight Eye and R9E are going to stay indoors. At least they want to come inside.
We've bought $3 toys for our cats, and the one that plays with toys prefers to play with a free balled up receipt.
Ah, Cujo, how adorable!
He looks a little bit like my Tana:

I have 4 cats, 2 Balinese (Palila and Lihue) and 2 Norwegian Forestcats (Tana and Neele). They all were brought up with dogs in the homes in which they were reared yet Palila (she spend most of her early childhood days with dachshunds) really thinks she IS a dog. She walks by heel, fetches toys and is very interested in all the things you do. Naturally, she sleeps in bed. This would be normal for many cats. She, however, only sleeps when she is able to lay cheek to cheek with me. That´s the little one:
