I am having some issues looking for a cult to join, I have varied interests so finding one that I like I feel wouldn't be too difficult -- but there are so many cults! How did you guys choose a cult to join? I want to be in one that is moderately active and not in limbo, but really that is one of my only stipulations for joining a cult. Is there a way that we can tell which ones are active?

usually cults that have threads here tend to be the most active. Look for a cult that mimics your interests! If you can't find one you like, you can always create one yourself too!

Thank you for the advice, I will start poking around and see what I can find. I am a little hesitant to create a cult since there doesn't seem to be enough active members at the moment.

Not sure how much of a fan of Harry Potter you are, but my cult Wizarding is always looking for new members!

Hey ^-^!! I'm in 4 cults haha! I couldn't decide so I joined Wizarding as it's super active and its quite fun doing all the challenges, I joined LairBears but that cult is mainly just for talking there isn't much competitions or anything, I'm in one called Snooburbs which is just a collection of friends who go mental with purchases at Lumi haha and then there's my small cult called pinkbuns :D! The cult is mainly for talking and contests :3 There's a daily HA challenge that there are weekly prizes for, and then there's a big competition every week to two weeks depending on prizes :D!

I love Harry Potter, but I feel like I would be a laughing stock. I haven't finished watching the movies or reading the books, haven't had time to do much of anything and I don't have a television at home to watch anything on. :/ I plan on reading through them with my munchkin once they're a bit older. But I would like to join, if absolute noobs are welcome!!

Absolute noobs are totally welcome! We stray from the source material quite a bit. We have our own professors and plots and events, so no worries having not finished the movies or books :)

You can join as many as you want :D!! Some cults have certain rules like no talking about other cults in them, but there's no issue with being in as many as you want :D!

Lumi is short for Luminaire which is subeta's version of Christmas :D! It is crazy fun as all the users on the site become extremely generous and if you enter things like wishlist giveaways and stuff you will get a crazy amount of presents under your lumi tree that gets opened on the 25th :)! For example, this year three users who I've never met before sent me custom wearables that were on my WL :O!!

I sent you an invite to pinkbuns but honestly, there's no pressure to join/stay tho ^-^!

Definitely going to give it a try, I think I will poke around a lot of the more active cults and see what fits and what doesn't. :) Luminaire sounds fun and right up my alley! An anonymous user sent me some gifts shortly after I posted this and I would love to send things to others. I have been collecting stickers to send to people.
