If you go to adopt r us since yesterday its been full of pets with their species name and 7 numbers following that. Its really hard to find anything good in there now. Also I have to add, that for the past few months there has only been like 1-8 pets in the pound, now suddenly theres 167, today. Is anyone else seeing all these badly named pets spamming the pound? Is it a glitch or have they all just been put back in the pound? I can't find anything in the news about it.

Is there a way that these pets can be adopted and have their names changed? I feel like people are less likely to adopt them because of the current names that they have and that's a bummer. :(
I adopted one of these pets because of their 2007 birthday. When you love a pet, you don't mind the expense.

I have no pet slots at the moment and I think even if we were all given a free pet slot, most wouldn't be adopted unfortunately. I really don't understand why they are dumped in the adopt-r-us. Why not just quietly delete them if they were offensive/against the rules?

Actually, ID pet seekers do make up a decent portion of the subeta user base.
A lot of those pets have old ID numbers and old ID numbers tend to get picked up by ID seekers.
People who want pets for IDs usually don't honestly care about the names and at least with the way they're named, it's immediately obvious what the ID number is.
The pets were pets that were dumped into the pound from a pet accounts whose names weren't abiding by subeta rules.
The names are random species name+ their pet ID number actually.
