Just noticed this today... when you're in a subforum, the navigation overhead now shows you what the main forum is too. Like so:

I know it's a tiny thing, but it's nice to have the main forum right there for easy access. Just makes using the forums less cumbersome. Thank you, thank you!

Having the main forum + subforum both listed is ncie, but I don't really like having the second link after "Forum home." Was it always there? I don't really find it necessary

it's not extremely necessary but it does serve a purpose, it's more apparent in forums like chit chat

Forum Home -> Social Scene -> Chit-Chat -> Create Topic

it scrolls to the category that it's in. again I don't think it's really necessary, but it isn't completely redundant

I know what it does, I just don't find it necessary personally. It makes the top bar idk too long? Something about it bothers me but really I'm just whining

okay just checking to make sure, I'm sure quite a few people would look at it and think it is redundant :P it's not really necessary because the forum main page isn't hard to navigate in the first place. I don't think it helps anyone. I'd be perfectly fine with the second link being removed

This is one of those tiny things that was always annoying, but you just kind of tolerate it. Glad to know that it is fixed now! :D

Yay!! That was super annoying while modding. I didn't realize the non grape population even noticed it

I dunno if it was always there, but after thinking about it a bit, I actually do like it. (The "Subeta" part threw me off until I went into another section, and saw it switch to "Social Scene" instead.) As someone who spends most of my forum time in one specific block of the forum -- not necessarily one board, but one area -- it's nice to have a way to back out of the board I'm in and go to another one. Granted, since I spend most of my time in the Subeta area, not such a big deal, but if I was more into the Entertainment, Chit Chat, and Roleplaying boards, for example, it'd be nice to not have to scroll past everything every time I wanted to leave Video Games and go comment on a new Current Event board that popped up.

I noticed this the other day--it always bothered me that it wasn't like this!
For example, in the Wanted subforum of the Advertising forum, there used to be no way to go back to the Advertising forum from a topic. I'd have to click at least a few times. Sounds complainey, and that's why I never posted anything about it, but I am pleased with this change. c:

I like this subtle change! Now, is there any way for us to get that at the bottom of every forum page too? I hate having to scroll all the way back up to the top of the page! And don't tell me to use my "home" button... Macs don't have that!
