Hey! I'm Alive. Or Kid, or whatever. I'm looking for a couple of RPs to entertain myself with now that I've gotten comfortable with my full time schedule.

If we end up RPing together, I'll likely be able to reply daily or every other day. If I'm excited, or I have more free time than I anticipate, it'd be multiple times daily. I'm more than happy to RP with people who have different schedules - some to reply to daily, some to reply to weekly, etc. On average, my posts even out at 2-4 paragraphs depending on content. For intros or situations with little character interaction over extended story-time, these'll be longer.

Rules.

• Any pairings are fine, non binary included (though I have yet to play a NB character, I'd be happy to try).
• I do enjoy romance in RPs, but only as a development of the characters and never as a cop-out for more plot. Unless we're talking the 'have to pretend to date for reasons' trope, in which case I am a sucker.
• Please discuss with me any Important Changes you're planning, whether that's introducing a new villain, building a part of the world, inventing a new race/character, killing my character, etc. I'd love to think it out with you and make sure we can keep the plot going, or wind it down, or whatever your objective is. Having an understanding of the plot as a whole, even if it's just a few vague sentences, is pretty important to me.
• Be older than 18, please. There are some topics that RPs get into that I feel involve a certain level of life experience, and an understanding of what's acceptable within RP and completely unacceptable in real life, etc. This goes for kidnapping plots, unhealthy relationships, characters that employ emotional abuse, etc. I really don't want a minor reading about gaslighting and thinking it's in any way okay IRL.
• I RP over e-mail or google docs. They're so much easier to work with, and I don't have to worry about a tag or bracket causing a code trigger and eating the rest of my message. I studied programming; I know it can be a pain to sanitize data..

My Writing.

• I tend to write in the third person, and will use italics and/or single quotes (depends on my partner's writing) to display a character's thoughts or musings.
• I swear, I use pretty much all of the past tenses. And that might be because I'm fluent in German. If you prefer present tense, let me know before I write my intro and I'll try very hard to stick to it.
• Initial posts may be long (6-7par), but like I mentioned I'll likely even out at 2-4.

• Fantasy (just getting into this, bear with me and teach me lore)
• Certain fandoms, rarely (TW Sterek, SH Malec, BBC Sherlock Johnlock, and sometimes TW Steter - don't judge me)
• A/B/O (only sometimes, only if it seems to fit the plot)

Scenarios I Like. (When I say 'you' or 'I', I'm not picking a character. We can totally discuss who plays what!)

• We have to date or be fake/real married. For reasons.
• I like you but I'm pretty sure you don't like me, you like me but you're pretty sure I don't like you. AKA the mutual pining. I can't even.
• You just summoned me because you were lonely and now I am a rage monster stuck with you. Yes, fine, netflix marathon and cookies. Whatever.
• I just saved your life and I'm going to have to keep saving it because you seem to get into these situations a lot and my effort can't be in vain. Come on, kid.
• You took home a stray dog/cat when you saw it injured. It healed really quickly but you decided to keep it after bringing it to the vet. Ahem. I am that dog/cat. Surprise?
• For some reason, you're a slightly magical creature and/or are somehow attracting dangerous characters. I'm the sociopath who's taken a liking to you and is not having it.
• You're one of a race owned by my race, and have run away from your owner for whatever reason - you can hide out at my place, I won't tell. We're gonna have to get you clothes, though.
• We don't speak the same language but we've been put into whatever situation together. Wait, I think my phone has an app for this?

• Creature we've made up, paired with human/supernatural.
• Sociopath X Not Emotionally/Impulsively Impaired
• Blind X Seeing
• Foreign Language Speaking X English Speaking

I haven't roleplayed in a couple of years, so I know for a fact that I'm rusty. In saying that, I don't mind if you would want to put me as low priority.

A lot of your scenarios and pairings interest me. I've only roleplayed BBC Johnlock and original characters, so those are the ones I'd be most comfortable with. I typically write a minimum of two paragraphs, though I have been known to write up to twelve paragraphs if there's no character interaction. That can be too much, I know.

I'm fairly laid back when it comes to plots, so if you wanted to roleplay something in particular, then that'd be fine with me, but those first two scenarios, together, interest me.

I think we may be on the same page - I'm just coming back from a two year hiatus here, and have only RPed a couple of times with the same person since. Plus, OCs are my comfort zone! Though I wouldn't mind some Johnlock, for sure.
