May 20th is my Subetaversary and this year was the 10th! It's incredible to me that Subeta is still going strong, and that I'm still really enjoying it. It's weird to know you've done something for a solid decade. It took me ten years to make 3200 posts, get over 800 achievements, get 46 pet slots. Amazing.

Well, here's to another ten years! Sometimes I'm a salty, grumpy old man on here but I do love this site a lot. With my Neo account being 13 years old, I think it's safe to say my "petsite phase" is gonna last my whole life.

Congratulations! Ten years is so long. I've got a about seven months until I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm always super happy when I see other people who have been around for as long, or longer, than I have.

What's something you miss the most from old Subeta? What's something about new Subeta that you love? The website has changed so much, even in just a few years.

It is nice to see other people who have been around, especially since usernames change so often so I can never keep track haha.

I honestly think this site has improved a lot, I think the only thing I miss from old subeta is being able to put everything in my shop to sell at once. x_x My favorite thing so far from the past few years is how AMAZING the art quality has become, I am so impressed with battle challengers, new items, pet revamps, and NPCs these days. Also all the little useability things they've added like explaining how features work on the feature page, small stuff like that, make this site feel a little less held together by paper clips and bubblegum. :P

What about you? Favorite new thing and old thing you miss the most? Do you have any of the same pets as when you started? And what do you use your loyalty boxes on? Mine all go into pet slots since I'm pretty much a pet hoarder.

My old username was Peachfuzz, but I think in all my 9+ years here, half of it was spent in hiatus.

I literally love that so much, because I know exactly what you mean by it. The site has definitely improved beyond that.

I'm not sure what my favourite new thing would be. I want to say the events, just because they seem so well-organised, but I've not actually participated in any of the newest ones and, well, I guess events have been around for a long time. Also, if you miss one event then there's such a small chance of you getting any of the perks from that event. It makes me feel excluded sometimes, especially coming off a hiatus and finding that I've missed roughly a million events.

I have a lot of negative thoughts about new Subeta though. I don't like that I do, of course, but I'm human. I miss the debate forum. I'm guessing it got removed because people were fighting too much. I also feel like the website is a lot more limited in an attempt to fight server lag. Server lag sucks, but what sucks more is having to spread your items over multiple shops, having to wait to have your items moved, etc. I keep running in to things that weren't there before and it can be quite frustrating. Suddenly I'm an old man shaking my walking stick at children and telling them to get off my lawn.

I believe I have all of my original pets. I'm too attached to them to put them up for adoption. I don't like many of their names, so I'm going to change them all eventually, along with their species and colours. Wyzgye was my first pet on this account.

My loyalty boxes go towards my gold account a lot of the time, which is stupid because usually I'll come on Subeta for a week or two and then leave. I might as well get the pet slot and buy a one week medal with sP, especially since I'm saving my sP for pet slots now. I am not a smart woman. But yeah, my loyalty boxes will also be going to pet slots from now on, because I am also a pet hoarder who happens to be broke and unable to buy more slots. (Getting my first pay check this week though, so we'll see.)
