I just spent 5 minutes trying to find a link to sent to my friends so they could join up. There used to be buttons and banners, but now they have vanished and or are impossible to find. Probably a better idea to put them somewhere easy to find, to get more people to the site. Just saying.

- Go to Personal > User Dashboard, and then click the number next to "Referrals" under "Your Stats". I didn't know where it was either, and I overlooked it a few times before I found it just now. I agree there's got to be a more obvious place to put it. :P

The site footer maybe? That was the first place I thought to look, since it has all of Subeta's social media links and stuff.

I'm pretty sure there's a space when you sign up to just fill in the username of the person who referred you. I had a friend decide to sign up recently and I never gave him a link, he just asked my username one day.

The linkback page is linked (semi-non-obviously) in the Referral Shop text blurb.

My issue is: where is the Referral Shop linked on-site?? It might be somewhere, but not so much somewhere obvious. Every time I've had reason to access it lately I've just googled it. It's extra funny because the top result is actually the news post about the Referral Shop overhaul, but if I don't pay attention and click it, it thankfully has a link.

Also, this page is silly and has 2 prize buttons. It should really be linked somewhere very obvious on site (like Help, way more obvious version on User Dashboard, or perhaps under the Personal or Personal > Friends drop down) and then have buttons for Prize Shop and Linkback Buttons.

Also, as an aside while searching for these things and thinking about referrals: I thought we got rid of Facebook and Twitter as acceptable names in part because they were essentially trawling referrals and yet there are several similar candidates on the High Score List as we speak... I dunno what to do about this, since blocking any name that's questionable will get kinda dumb, but it seems wrong to shut down some and not others as well. Perhaps give some default selections above the username box on the referral area when signing up?

Weren't blank for me when I first posted, are now. But hovers are also broken for me atm, may be site issue.

Edit: For Amber - when I could see the page yesterday it still had 2 prize buttons (1 above and 1 below). Otherwise the new linkback button is nice. And while I didn't think to look in currencies, it would still be nice to have a more obvious version somewhere (and/or just make the one in user dashboard more obvious). Someone who's experienced with the system and knows they have points might think currencies, someone just trying to figure out wtf referrals are/how to get them might not /shrug.
