I don't really think there is, but I just wanted to ask just in case. you know how when you get shop purchases ect. while youre browsing on the site and it opens itself making your dashboard the unused tab.

I dont like the tab opening I just want my dashboard to show all the time and when i get events (1) I would like to be able to check it whenever I wanted instead of it opening.

go here and switch it from "smart" to "dashboard"

you can also turn off shop notifications too if they bother you

yes, just go to the customize sidebar page and select 'dashboard' instead of 'smart' and then click 'save settings' 😊
