This used to be a thing when automatic resizing of images was first revamped/introduced, but somewhere along the way in the forum updates it was lost.

Unless there's some behind the scenes reason to not, it would be nice if this could come back.

How it used to work: using the 'img' scode would automatically make any resized image clickable, and clicking it would open the full-size image in a new tab. You can do the same thing w/scode but it requires remembering and takes extra steps, and now that it's not a feature not everyone knows to click (which would be a learning curve in bringing it back as well, but would probably catch on quickly). Right click > open in new tab still works, but again, extra.
