Okay so I know the repellent gives a 25% chance to get the item, and the trap is a 50% chance, if I had both would they stack? Or if I had multiple repels or traps? Or will it just count whichever one I have in my inventory with the larger %?

I am guessing likely not, but I can't help to be curious since I haven't seen anything that says one way or another. Also, is the trap only one use? I know the repellent seems to be infinite use, I have never had to rebuy mine and it's activated on at least 3 events now.

I don't know about the % chances but I think if you have both trap and spray you get the item 100% of the time. I have both and haven't ever not gotten the item. they are infinite use.

Well I got the 25% and 50% from Subeta Lodge so I am fairly certain that their info is accurate. I actually did manage to get an item from them just a few moments ago. It was a Common Kanis Beanbag. Appaently according the the event, spraying didn't work so I apparently threw the can at one of them and got the item I presume by knocking it comatose with the can. I giggled for a good bit after reading that.

And well, if you have both and have never gotten an item from them then I guess it is not 100% chance if you have both?

I have never missed an item I mean :p always gotten it. let me google a bit to see if I can find anyone saying they missed an item with both trap and spray

Ahh okay! I must have read that wrong then! It is midnight where I am so we'll chalk it up to tired eyes I suppose. aha. but yeah I'd def like confirmation, I've never gotten an item from them until today but it was only worth like 90K and other items I missed were worth less so I'm debating if it's worth buying more cans of repel to stack, or buying a trap.

I wouldn't bother worrying about catching a comatose lizard minion. You can find them for a mere 450sp in user shops for days. I'd honestly just keep the 100% chance to grab the item. I've had some of those events where nothing happens such as it saying a lizard looks at me then scurries off, but lately I have had a few actually mentioning items and I just failed to get it from them.

But yeah, I really appreciate the info. Def means if the items I can get from having the trap too are worth it, I might grab it. Not sure though since most items seem to be worth less than 100K.

Ahh I see. Maybe might be worth it then. I prolly dont have that acheivement since I dont have the trap. Might be worth it to just grab a trap, I'd have it permanently and I wouldn't have to worry about replacing it anyway. And I can keep it locked in my inventory so special events don't touch it.

yup once you have them, keep them locked and you won't need to worry about it ever again :P

So I'd say in your honest opinion it should be worth it in the end then? Sorry if I keep asking questions. I just don't like buying things and then regretting it if I don't use it much or it doesn't pay off. XD

if you luck out and get a potion, yes. it'll almost immediately pay for it if you get a good one. for most items, they aren't worth more than 200k. I'd get it if I were you, don't worry too much about if your investment will pay off in a timely manner :P

Okay cool. I didn't know potions would sometimes show up. I don't mind if it doesn't pay off quickly as long as it ends up worth it in the long run at some point. Gonna grab one from user shops seeing as their just a tiny bit cheaper over there atm than at the Millionair Center. <3

I don't think all potions are, but a good number of them are at least. just hope to get lucky :P
