Hey guys I haven't been on subeta in a while but I have no idea where kiddies get their rps anymore so here I am, back to ye olde faithful subeta forums.

I have no idea how to do this. Uhm, I'm Eli (they/them pronouns pls), 20 years old, been roleplaying since I was a wee preteen on the neopets forums.

Some ground rules:

• I will not rp with anyone underage (18 yrs, I'm from the US sorry) for legal and moral reasons. I enjoy romance oriented roleplays, and although it doesn't have to happen, I want that safety net in case it does.

• I will not rp cishet relationships - they're boring. My preference is m/m, and I also tend towards trans male characters because that's what I'm most comfortable with. However, I do need to get out of my comfort zone so I'm totally cool if you'd like to do some genderqueer characters or f/f. I love queer characters with all my heart.

• Blah, blah, no gm, no pp (or whatever the kids call it these days). Be nice, I'm small and tired.

Other stuff:

• I've been writing in 3rd person, present tense (he asks, etc) and it's kind of hard to kick that habit, so I wouldn't mind if you'd either have a little patience with me (because I will definitely accidentally slip up) or if you'd even be so kind as to join me in the glorious present tense. We could have a party. :0

• Ideally, because it's summer and I'm a lonely nerd, I'd love to have someone I could chat with daily. It doesn't even have to necessarily be daily rp replies. However I know that can be a little unrealistic, so at least I'd like someone I can talk to every couple of days, and perhaps get replies from about as regularly as well.

• The minimum length reply is definitely 2/3 paragraphs. I know that can seem kinda steep, but if we're riffing off each other and actually into the story it can be fun and not too hard. It seems kinda dumb, but also my max would be 6/7 paragraphs (excluding intros, and replies where characters don't interact) because at that point it just gets intimidating.

• I love planning. I can't help it, okay. I like making sure that we have goals in mind and that a partner is okay with the direction that the story is going. However, I also like throwing goals out the goddamn window if I come up with a cool/funny idea. The whole point of rping for me is being able to riff off of another person about interesting ideas etc etc. I just wanna hang out and talk lol. .

Onto the good shit.

Stuff I'm into:

• fantasy (especially pseudomedieval fantasy, but all fantasy is good and welcome)
• supernatural/monsters/etc (especially when combined with fantasy stuff. think, uh, fae + werewolves + witches)
• dragons (im a dragon, ur a dragon, there are just some dragons hanging out. I don't care, I love dragons)
• magic in general is just great
• demons (cute ones with sharp teeth and weird tails)

Tropes I Love:

• arranged marriage
• oops I happened to save your life and now I think I love you
• most dangerous game/hunger games
• dnd/tabletop style meeting in a tavern and just deciding to group up

All of these are just kinda guidelines though, to be honest. If we get along and you have a really cool idea I'd honestly be down for whatever. I'd also probably propose instantly if you let me make the rp setting my original universe and stuff. Idk just hit me up.
