I've been using the blessed trident with my T9, and I gotta say I really really love the blessing. It blocks 175 of 3 icons (water, earth and magma iirc) and it can save your ass pretty easily. xD

When I saved up for the collection I also wasn't sure if I really wanted that weapon this badly, but if you end up liking Swashbuckle as a wind blocker more you can always resell it in a year or so for a little profit.
