Okay so I was playing Flight Simulator. It's incredibly simple enough. But what is not simple is how the scoring system works. I got 4600 on first try but subsequent completions get me random amounts still over 4000 but I don't know what causes the dip and spike.

I thought, perhaps how many lives I had was acting like some kind of multiplier. No, that doesn't seem to be the case as I lost 2 lives the first time and another time I didn't lose any and got a lower score. I tried completing it faster, again, a lower score.

So could anyone kindly tell me what the exact scoring system is on this game? I noticed someone with a score of 5300 on the leaderboard and I just cannot fathom how they managed to get that. Thanks.

pretty sure points are awarded for each enemy ship you defeat, and different ships award different amounts of points, so it's mostly based on luck: how many ships appear, and which types.

Wow seriously? That's pretty bum for high scores to be based purely on luck and absolutely little amounts of skill.. Well I appreciate the answer all the same. Thank you for your time. ^^
