Belderiver - bell-deh-ree-ver.

Belde - Turkish for "waist." Rive (Riven, River) - Swedish for "to split or tear apart violently."

Belderiver - "to split or tear apart the waist violently" - also known as "disembowel;" - to slice open the abdomen so the internal organs fall out/ are removed.

Belderiver - "disemboweler."

I was really shocked to find this name available, seeing as it's the name of a cursed sword wielded by the Shadow Knight, Oswald, in Odin Sphere. So I adopted a pet with a poor name "farmingpet11" and renamed him and gave him his new look!

Belderiver is going to be one of two terrifying creatures (along with Halija, a name derived from Odin Sphere as well!) released from their imprisonment in a deep dungeon by a group of unwitting adventurers.
