I didn't really know if the frozen account of the pet name I wanted would go inactive exactly at 3 (since I've heard they sometimes clear up to a day before that!) so I refreshed, and in the interim 5 seconds, someone else snagged the pet name I wanted :(

Not posting the name, but the person who did get it has a lot of pets that fit into a single theme (as does their username), so at least it went to someone who is actually into it. lol.

Now I need to find another pet for the slot I just spent all my sP on...

I'm sorry you didn't receive yours either. It was worth a shot at least right? :D Also you don't have to fill that slot right away. Who knows there might be more names that will become available later on that you'll really enjoy.

Yeah, it was c: And now I know how it works for next time (if there is a next time!) I know I don't :D And I won't until the right pet comes along. I am really super satisfied with all my pet's names currently, as well as the characteristics and personalities they embody, so unless something really spectacular comes along I'll probably just save the slot (and use it occasionally to adopt pets for color achievements hahaha! Only Angelic, Aqua, and Harvest left to go!). I had a feeling I wouldn't get it I suppose, I mean the Ice King is just so intimidating only the most fearless would be the quickest to click!

I too failed on a pet name snag today. It's frustrating when you've been waiting all year. Just have to hope the person who snagged it doesn't ditch it :P
