Okay so my question is actually two.

1: Where do I go to adopt a Neela? I know I saw it somewhere at one point but I wasn't interested in adopting one at the time so I clicked away and now I can't find it again.

2: What is the excavation site for in Sacred Lands? Cause I go there and click around and nothing happens. o.O

Ahh I see. Well that is disappointing on the Neela thing.. Really disappointing how so much of this site is starting to go towards having to spend real life money in order to get certain things. I remember back when this site was much less focused on encouraging us to spend cash.

Well, you can also sometimes find someone adopting out a Neela, and you can buy the elixirs to change an existing pet with SP (as you can buy them from the shop search and not ONLY from the cash shop). I don't find it too bad since virtually every single thing you'd pay CSC for can also be purchased with SP (even CSC itself)...

Well aside from most custom wearable stuff. But the Neela potions are mondo expensive at around 20 Mil each so that's a tad frustrating on top of the price for the color changing potions, but I guess there's not much else I can do.

Just to let you know that the arid neela elixir is currently the least expensive one (around 14 mil). They were given out for free (of course randomly) during the free shop giveaway this year. And they used to be less than 10mil in user shops.

[edit] You can turn your pets into a Bhakoru at The Excavation Site, but only if you participated in the old plot.

You can also get a Neela by making a Nostalgic Neela. The instructions for a Nostalgic Neela are 950k~ and an Essence of Melody is ~7 mil. The quest will ask for a few other items like the Wood Carvers Kit (40k) and something else. All together no more than 10 mil. Probably closer to 8 mil.

Yeah unfortunately I wasn't around during that time so I def don't have that available. Seems like a decent option though.

Also, good to know I'm not missing out on anything good then if all I could get is that type of pet.

Oh? That at least sounds somewhat reasonable, though I have no idea where to go to do that? Plus Horror's option might be slightly more expensive, but more practical if I am allowed to adopt a particular pet I am seeing is still up for adoption that I am wanting to have for the Neela.

Although if I am denied, your option will definitely sound like my best option for cheapest route since I know the sweetheart potions aren't terribly expensive at all.

Ahh...I totally forgot about the nostalgic route (I've done that before too). It's not at all difficult, and you can turn whatever pet you want into a neela through that method. Here's a guide on how to make a nostalgic pet: click.

ooh okay so I can actually turn a pre exisiting pet into one kinda like with the Steamwork? Those I know let you choose between turning a pet into one and creating a new one. That would honestly be a really nice option if I get this pet. That would make getting my desired Neela to be cheaper than some of my other ambitions on here.
