Switching back and forth between my lovely Mac (at home) and my PC (at work) and then wondering why the mouse won't scroll. Because my dumb ass keeps forgetting it's backwards on a PC. Ugh. Up is down and down is up and I want to always be on a Mac. -_-
Self-important jackasses who think the world revolves around them. Especially when I'm at work. There are SEVENTY-TWO residents here, sir, you are not the only one who requires care. Everyone is busy right now. Yelling 'help help' every minute all day long in such a self-imporant tone is not going to get you help any faster, especially when we've already told you that you can't go to bed for another hour yet.
People who can't use their damn turn signal to literally save their damn lives. Seriously. One little lever. Push it up, you turn, it goes off. REALLY not hard, I swear.
Coworkers who ask stupid questions. And yes, there are stupid questions. Them: When is [resident's name] supposed to get a shower? Me: Check the shower book? Them: Is [resident's name] out? Me: Check the log book? Them: Where is [resident's name]? Me: We have three floors. I'm supposed to know this how? (I could go on with the questions all day.)
Tell me your annoyances. Just please don't post personal info. That'd be bad. And probably annoying, lol.
Know-it-all people (and nosey), especially teachers. I want to throw a dictionnary at them while yelling angrily.
Unsolicited pregnancy/baby/parenting advice. Especially from people who have never been pregnant or don't have kids of their own. Or who had them so long ago that don't realize shit has changed between then and now.
On a related note: People who spout anecdotes thinking it voids actual scientific evidence. The whole "Oh, we did ___ and everything turned out fine!" ...That's great for you, but it's absolutely by no means the case for everyone, so stop acting as if you aren't the exception to the freaking rule here.
...I really could just ramble on, but I feel that's a pretty good summary.
Pretentiousness. No, no you are not better than everyone else, please stop talking. That generally goes hand-in-hand with people boasting/show-boating about how good at something they are. Like, are these people familiar with the phrase, 'show, don't tell?'
People who think that because they own a dog, they know everything about them, and constantly put-up unsolicited advice.
Also there is currently an enormous fire raging in my province, and the amount of pure stupidity, and ignorance that is being spouted because of it is alarming. Thankfully, that is very much out-shone by the spectacular sense of comradery and generosity that is being shown despite everything that's happening.
let me guess, you work at an independent/memory senior care? I use to work at one too as a concierge, and it was ridiculous.
i'm annoying be so many things:
-being sick all the time. (mental and physically) i feel like i'm always sick; i mean, i'm not the healthiest. but can't i just feel normal for once?
-people who are mean to animals (especially dogs. ESPECIALLY when people chain their dogs outside, and never let them inside to give them affections, ugh.)
-snobs, enough said.
that's only three, but i'll probably be back to rant more, LOL.
People who eat/chew noisily. Like can you just go... someplace else and do that? Holy crud.
Pretentious prats.
There is this one character in a fandom I'm in that everyone must unabashedly on the premise of skin color, if you don't, you're automatically deemed racist.love
The character is a manipulative, rude busy body who stoops to name calling when they don't get their way. Everyone else in the fandom worships the ground said character walks on and it's REALLY annoying. I'm going to dislike a character if they're generally nasty. That doesn't make me racist.
Given that's the longest point in my post, you can guess how much it actually annoys me.

When I go abroad and people assume I can't speak or understand English and they talk reeeeaaaalllllyy sloooowwlly and exaggerate their hand movements.
[tot=Ninja]
Ohmygod, right?! Especially when people are all 'Oh, you don't have kids? Don't you want kids? You don't?! Oh, honey you'll change your mind.' No. I won't. I've known since I was 11 that I didn't want kids. Haven't changed in the slightest. Not going to change now.
Assisted living/memory care, yes, lol. Although I don't go down to the memory care area very often. I love my job, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I just need a convenient wall to bash my head into. And I'm a concierge too! XD You're not in Michigan, are you?
And sweet Lord in heaven, I can't believe I didn't mention 'when people are mean to animals'. I once ripped a child and his mother a new one for the kid throwing rocks at a Canadian goose when I was on vacation. I've also reported neighbors for having over a dozen animals in their house, a farm for not taking proper care of their horses, etc.
Right!? If someone's an ass, they're an ass. Skin color does not matter in judging someone's ass-ness.
Precisely.

Yup - something about having a baby makes some people think they've unlocked the secrets to the universe and automatically know better than everyone else. (This coming from someone due to give birth, like, any day now; I guess, at the very least, we're not all like that =P)
Especially when they don't know why said person is childless. Like, regardless of the reason, it's still a super-rude thing to say to anyone (I mean, in what world are someone else's reproductive organs any of your business, anyways?) - but some people struggle with fertility (we did), so these comments can actually be incredibly hurtful, and not everyone is strong enough to tell them to piss off and mind their own.
Ugh I can't stand the people who nag women about having kids, or feel entitled to know the reasons a woman adamantly says "No." But as someone who has no children, I cringe whenever I witness unsolicited parenting advice. Especially directed at my parents. It's never from anyone who has any substantial knowledge of the younger kids' backgrounds and situation. Assumptions based on appearance can be very, very wrong.
- Ughhh people who eat noisily make me want to scream. And yet the sound of my horses and dogs eating is 10x louder and incredibly soothing.
Equestrians who think you're not a "real" horse-person if you don't show or gasps of horror don't even ride regularly! Nevermind all of the daily care that horse ownerships requires, and all the wonderful things you can do with horses out of the saddle. Training begins on the ground.
People who don't think artists should be paid in anything but compliments and "exposure."
"You're not a real fan unless you _____."
"You're quiet." "You don't talk much." "You're not very outgoing." ...Thanks? It's awkward when it comes from an older adult who will talk for ages about nothing in particular and you don't see them often, and never alone. No, you and these other chit-chatters seemed to be doing just fine so I wasn't going to fight to get a word into a conversation that does not really involve me at all.
Doctors with god-complexes. Doctors who say we should "educate ourselves" about illnesses and prevention and treatments until we actually DO and learn something they don't want to deal with and then we need to "stay off the internet." Doctors who think that most people who have pain complaints are just drug seekers. Doctors who refuse to officially acknowledge any prior medical treatment you pursued if they didn't agree with it, as in, literally reporting that you neglected to seek medical care. Doctors who don't believe in chronic pain. I could go on because, in general, doctors in my life annoy and infuriate me.
Just insert 1000 annoyances related to chronic and invisible and misunderstood illnesses here.

I know, right? I love listening to horses snuffle around while nomming.

hahah no! I'm actually in arizona. but is your management senior lifestyle corp? if so, that'd be crazy!
This might be kinda long. There are a lot of things that annoy me.
Probably one of the things that annoy me the most would be the people who believe that animals other than humans can not think or feel. Anyone who has ever cared about a pet knows that they do have thoughts and feelings.
Animal abuse. No one deserves the kind of abuse that some people put animals through.
Another thing that annoys me are the people that say that a bird can not love like a cat or dog can. I have a parrot who is more affectionate than any dog I have ever met, so I know that what those people say is not true.
People who hate others just for being different than them. Not everyone is born the same, and if they were this world would get really boring.
People who try to talk me into getting a boyfriend or whatever. I have never wanted to be in a relationship and no, I will never change my mind so quit telling me that I will.
People who think that they are better than everyone else or think that they are always right.
Really crowded places.
I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but the sounds of little kids screaming also annoys me.
When I tell someone not to mess with something, but they mess with it anyway and it breaks.
I agree totally with this, animal abuse is horrid. I don't know what I'd do to the person if they were ever nasty to my little bubba Jack Russell. As well as the relationship thing and the people being different than them. So what if I'm Asexual? So what if I don't like boys? If I was any different from who I am now, surely I wouldn't be ME?
Sorry if I'm coming across as Hostile towards you I'm not being hostile towards you. But, I'm agreeing with what you say.
Totally agreed! I've had pet guineas and ducks and currently have pet chickens. Being birds, their minds are /different/ than a dog's, but they are absolutely friendly, affectionate, intelligent, and have unique personalities!

The Presidential election. Ehehehehe.
But in all seriousness, I'm pretty sick of it already. I love my friends and family dearly, and I'm never one to turn down a good ol' fashioned meme, but the amount of stuff that is plastered to my Facebook newsfeed or preached on a daily basis about how so-and-such is literally the Devil and how who-and-who is the PEOPLES' CHAMPION and yadda yadda... goodness me. It is tiresome, especially when both sides jump on bandwagons without doing any research.
As for other general annoyances, elitism is a big one. Then again, I am pretty humble/modest, so perhaps I am being biased. (I say that as I humble brag about being modest. I swear I didn't mean for it to come across that way, haha!)
The ALEKS online math program. Jesus Christ.
Agreed with on the chewing thing. As calm and polite as I am, as soon as I hear loud, nasty chewing, goodness me. Primal fits of rage, right there. (Also, +1 for your post about skin colors in fandoms and the sort. I don't dwell in fandoms much personally, but I've seen what you're talking about and scoff at it pretty heavily, haha.)
I might also be an oddball here, and don't mean to bring up anything controversial, but it does annoy me how some folks can hate all cops, teachers and the like due to bad reputation or experiences. Obviously there are bad cops and teachers, but I'm not one to lump everyone together. It doesn't sit fair to me. I do understand both sides, however.
Bragging. Game scores, in the workplace, religion, sexuality - bragging of any sort is just irksome, and rude.
...I rambled on quite a bit, whoops. Haha!
