Hello everyone. So I've been registered on this site for a long time but I had grown bored and moved on for quite awhile and alas, forgotten about this place. I had just today rediscovered this site and began re-exploring what I once spent so much effort in creating and collecting. Everything seems fine, except for one odd problem. My shops.

See, for some reason, none of them are showing in the "Your Shops" tab. After a short panic, I realized my shops and galleries are still accessible under the "commerce" tab in the top right corner rather than the dashboard on the left. Under the "commerce" tab, I notice the shops there have an Exclamation mark in the middle of a dark blue triangle.

I see that I can remove items from my shops and galleries, but it seems I cannot add items back in. So I guess my question is, how can I fix them? Most of them I wouldn't mind too horribly to just delete and remake them, but one in particular has most of my massive amount of collections and has several categories that I REALLY would prefer to not have to remake completely from scratch if it is at all possible. I'd be super happy if there was some way I could just "re-register" the shops in some way or fashion.

I did have 5 shops, but I did delete one to get it down to the "4 shop limit" that I honestly don't recall being a thing before, I am wondering as to why that was dropped to a mere 4. Please bear with me as it has probably been like... 3 or 4 years since I've last logged into my account. I'm honestly incredibly shocked I didn't get wiped out for inactivity or something.

I think that is all the info I know at the moment, I'm still poking around to try and find answers but I am coming to a standstill on what to do aside from asking here in the help section. Thanks in advance to those who offer their aid. ^^

the shop system changed so you will have to create some new shops and transfer your items in your old shops to he new ones. here is a guide that should explain most questions you have. if you have any others, feel free to ask me.

Well that is rather unfortunate seeing how the one shop will take decades (yes exaggeration) to get re-set up. Thanks for the guide. Although, mind if I ask why the shops system got changed? Seemed like a fine system that was in use last time I was here. Most everything else here seems relatively unchanged.

the old shops were causing a huge bottleneck in the servers so they caused a lot of server errors. the new shops are more efficient, but they do have item limits. they should at least help out with the server errors we've been experiencing for awhile. the old shops aren't entirely offline though, if you have stuff in your old shop, it can stay in there and still be sold, but you can't add new stuff to it.

there should still be an easy way to transfer things out of your old shop into new ones. there's a little all button you click and at the bottom you select which shop you want to move it into. it is a slow process because they don't want to crash the site moving that many items at once, but it is relatively pain free and it works :)

Ouch, how low of an item limit? That might severely impact my collection gallery and seeing how I am now limited to just 4 shops, that's going to be very restructuring as I have quite a lot of items in the one gallery.

Another question, if I make a new shop, it wont cause my old ones to disappear right? how long do I have before the old ones are wiped out completely?

so there's a chance the item limit will go up. it's only limiting unique items, duplicate items have no limit.

I don't think there are plans to wipe out the old shops at all, they'll remain in tact but no one beside you will be able to see them. they'll act like your vault pretty much. the number of old shops won't impact your new shops at all, so feel free to go make four new ones.

Well that's good, I don't know how many items I have in my gallery, but if its 4000 unique then even if I have more than that I should be able to be fine with the 2-3 galleries and 1 selling shop. I know with my shop I didn't keep more than 300 unique, though with my cleaning I will probably end up with quite a lot to sell off.

Actually, yeah, I think I made a mistake, guess there's nothing that can be done, but I forgot to remove my till from my shop before I deleted it and I suppose there's no way to get that back... Kinda frustrating as that was 23 mil now gone that I just stupidly didn't think about till it was too late. -_-

oh that really sucks :/ you can try to file a ticket to see if they can reimburse you, but I'm not 100% certain that is something they can help with. it's worth a shot though.

Yeah, its not too big a deal I guess since I haven't been here in forever, but its still a bit frustrating. Mind directing me to where I can file a ticket? I'm still re-acclimating to this site again.

Awesome, thanks so much. I'm gonna try sending a ticket but I'm not gonna let myself get too bothered over it, things happen and I haven't been here in forever too. Best not to let myself get too heckled over it.

Awesome! Looks like the admins were able to confirm that I had that amount in my til before it was deleted and it was credited back to my account! Thanks for the help and suggestions! I really appreciate it!
