Hello, children. I am Naos. It seems the grounds have been overrun by a group of Nifflers. I need some help rounding them up to release them back into their habitat. As some of you may know, Nifflers are attracted to particularly... shiny objects. So I think our best bet is to wear whatever shiny objects we can find. Jewelry would probably work best, but if you have some other items that you think would attract the little creatures, feel free to use them.
This week's theme is Shiny.
Don an outfit that would catch a Niffler's eye, so you can catch it before they steal something really important!
Some rules for this challenge: 1.) Your outfit must include something that would be considered shiny! 2.) Bonus points may be awarded to particularly creative outfits.
Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme shall be awarded 10 House Points!
This challenge will end on Friday, April 29th at 11:59PM.
Curse it , I thought Magnus put them back!

Apparently one of the nifflers escaped their crate?! lol
Here is Aria's entry, House of Gryffindor.

note sword is not for hurting the nifflers, just to add a shine that will attract them! lol

I really really extremely want:
Aderyn didn't own a whole lot of gold of any sort, so when the call came out for Niffler bait, she went hunting in the school's Hallowe'en stores. She'd pulled out bits and pieces of gold from all sorts of different outfits, some of which jingled when she walked for an added element of attraction. She borrowed some gold lipstick from a fellow Ravenclaw and added a gold quill to wave around to get the Nifflers' attentions. Finally, just to add a little extra oomph, she wrapped herself in gold tape, which she's sure is going to be great to pull off later...

Max took out his grandmothers precious ring to lure out the nifflers and off course shiny henna does a thing too.

Katsumi, Ravenclaw

Katsumi only owned a few things that were shiny, but a shimmering light spell would make her extra enticing, as would the imitation leprechaun gold and fake gems she borrowed from a classmate. Just because they weren't real didn't mean they weren't shiny!

Gwen looked all over the castle for some gold stuff to shimmer. She bumped into someone in the library and they showed her how to bewitch her hair to sparkle too.
Ketrel sighed and took out her wand. She really didn't know exactly what she was doing, but she was going to try her best. She enchanted everything silver, then enhanced the most brilliant of the pieces she could. It wasn't perfect, but it would have to do.

Samantha Grant, Slytherin
For thw niffler hunt, Sam had an older student cast a hex on her that turned her skin shiny copper. Then with some gold glitter and every shiny gold and silver item she could find or "borrow" (Except pierced earrings, she remembered how strongly those little nifflers could tug) she headed out to the grounds to help round them up.
Poppy showed up with her butterfly pendant and ankle boots with copper accents. The Shimmering Silver Salt Drops that she had bought at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes would also be perfect for attracting Nifflers. Then she performed a butterfly-conjuring spell since she could count on the shiny light they cast to help.

Megan Belcrox/Hufflepuff
Megan decided to be as shiny as she could manage. c: She mixed silver with glitter and oomphfed it up with some magic for a some what ethereal, sparkly feel.

Sar of Ravenclaw, not wanting to be overrun by Nifflers, simply wore a single necklace hoping its beautifully colored opal would attract their eye but she also came prepared with gloves and a bag that carried her Gold Plated Super Trout Shield in case she needed more bling and to store any catches.
Guess the avatar share doesn't work? It's my current HA if that works. Items are also listed on my profile.
(o are we writing ok)
"What kind of Ravenclaw owns golden shoes?" Giselle sighed to herself, suddenly self-conscious of how conspicuous she grew as the Niffler hunt continued. As the sun sank lower, she and the other students searching twinkled under the trees more brightly with every minute. She slipped her wand into one hand and crouched to examine another hole while pushing her jeweled headdress back.
Suddenly, dropping her wand, she snatched inside the hole to pull out the black, fluffy body that followed the curious snout sniffing at her watch. "Got one!"
Paddy jumped at the chance to help catch the Nifflers - she'd enjoyed the Care of Magical Creatures session with them, and rummaged around to find something suitable to wear to attract them. Adding a pair of clip-on earrings in her hair (they get tangled with her fur on her ears), she attempted a sparkle charm on her hairpiece, but it went slightly wrong, making the entire thing glow rather than sparkle. Hoping it was sparkly enough, and that the Nifflers would notice the shiny buttons on her trouser legs, she ran back to Naos to help.

As long as you have to do this, go all out. Rowan thinks of brave Gryffindors before who dazzled in ballgowns, casts a Beguilous Nifflus on her hair, and throws on every sparkly thing she can beg or borrow, as well as a few things she stuffed in a bottom drawer. These are the trinket she bought after too many butterbeers. Okay, Nifflers, come to Rowan!
