From the numerous forum posts I've read in the time since Oatmeal first came to Subeta, I'm not the only one who actually "feeds" legitimate worries to Oatmeal. I remember reading a comment once where someone expressed how cathartic it can be, writing down real worries and having Oatmeal eat them up, and I totally agree! Although I only use it these days when Major Drills demands it, I do love the feature but there is one thing that I find slightly off-putting about it and that is how HUGE and BOLD the text is when I type into the box. To me the font size seems excessively large and is certainly disproportionate with the text size on the rest of the page. It puts me off using it (properly or at all) if there are people around as the lettering is so big and bold, it displays my worries for all to read over my shoulder very easily! (Though I accept this may actually be the reason why the text is so big, so youngsters can't hide their worries very easily from their parents/guardians!). I wondered whether it was a reasonable request that the text size is reduced, even just a little? I may well be the only one who feels like this but thought I'd mention it anyway (and apologies if it has been mentioned before, I did look but I couldn't find anything).

(I also accept this is an incredibly minor point, particularly for a grown woman to feel awkward about.)

you can change that with a bit of customCSS but it will change the size of every text box you can write in on the site:

textarea {font-size:14px!important;}

Just change the 14 to whatever size you want :)

I totally didn't even think of customCSS! 😆 Thank you so much, that's really helpful :)
