I've just transferred one of the layers (fingers) from my beloved hoarder shop to the wardrobe but no matter how many times I refresh, hard refresh, clear the cache etc etc the items do not show up, not feeling very confident about moving anything else to the wardrobe till I can find out what's happened so any input would be greatly appreciated.

It may take up to a few hours for items just moved to your wardrobe to show up in there for use on an HA.

I wasn't trying to use them just sort them into their layers. I had just finished transferring all my 'ear' layer items and that worked/showed up fine (as I'm checking I've had things under the correct layers in my hoarder ie as I've found a few items that were in my hoarder under background and they were actually foreground). Anyway I'll leave it for now and check back tomorrow to see if they've showed up, thank you for your reply.
